My AC was not cooling yesterday, it was over 80° and miserably humid in the house and I was being a crabby baby about it. After a few hours of failed YouTube research and standing in the yard in my pajamas with a flashlight like I know the first thing about HVAC units, I filled out a form (a cry for help, really) on Dependable's website.

Joshua texted me this morning and assured me he's had more desperate-sounding web forms. Maybe he was just being polite, but I'll take it. We had a quick chat about what was going on, and he and Jarek arrived a few hours later. On a Sunday! They were so friendly and professional, and solved the problem very quickly. They told me about routine maintenance I knew nothing about and had never done, and I'll absolutely be calling them to schedule that going forward.

They were super transparent about possible estimates and timelines depending on the cause of the issue. The pricing was straightforward and fair. Refrigerant is expensive right now, don't be mad. I would have paid anything for the relief this cold air has brought me. I just put on a light sweater. I'm going to sleep so well tonight. 10/10, wholeheartedly recommend.

I have to say these guys are the best! Ryan and his guys are true professionals. I have a couple of rental units in the south shore. One of my heating units went down a couple of weeks ago. With it being 20 degrees out I was not only concerned about my tenants, but also about pipes freezing. Ryan and his team were fantastic from start to finish. Competitive pricing and meticulous, clean work. We needed to replace our ancient hvac system and our job turned out to be way more difficult and had several challenges thanks to negligent former owners and their “creative” maintenance solutions. Nonetheless, everyone on the team was professional and upbeat throughout, even though they were working through the hottest part of the summer in our attic! Ryan returned my call promptly and showed up to diagnose the problem the first day, unlike many of the other companies in the Braintree/Weymouth area who I called who never returned my call and we’re very unprofessional. Quick, VERY responsive, and you can tell that the job is done with passion. Our furnace went downhill quick and it was very unexpected. Ryan and his team walked us through options and made a very stressful time much more bearable. We will use this company again and would recommend them to anyone.
