HIS & HERS Energy Efficiency

I used HIS & HERS Energy Efficiency to provide advice on a complete gut renovation and to coordinate the Mass Save rebate program. Adin Maynard, the owner, was a pleasure to work with. He not only did the testing required for the program, but he filled out and submitted all the required rebate paperwork, as well.

Adin was very knowledgeable and provided valuable advice on the HVAC system, including an ERV, water heater, and insulation. He not only considered energy efficiency, but air quality, as well. He explained everything to make it easily understandable.

During the process, if I had a question, he always responded immediately. Although he had his colleague cover for him when he was on vacation, he still took the time to contribute to an email discussion on an issue that arose.

During the last few months we completed construction of a modular home in Harwich (Cape Cod), Massachusetts. Adin Maynard provided the energy audit for us and the final HERS rating. We were impressed with Adin's attention to detail in doing the audit and his knowledge of this area, generally. For a variety of reasons, Adin's assessment of our house was more complicated than any of us expected (not due to his fault) and it took a couple months to complete the paperwork for rebates. Throughout this process Adin was persistent in following up on the details and, overall, it was a pleasure doing business with him. We heartily recommend him!
