    We have just had McNeill install a central air conditioner unit. Both Eddie and Vinny where extremely dedicated, knowledgeable and professional. I would recommend McNeill to anyone who wants great service.

    On 2/2/2019, I called McNeill due to our furnace not working. Of course, this happened during some of the most frigid temps of the winter, so not only was it freezing outside but the inside was also unbearably cold. I explained how our furnace was up in the attic and how we had just purchased the home in Sept 2018 so I couldnt explain details about the furnace. An appointment was set for 2/4, where Eric arrived and supposedly fixed the furnace in a 30 minutes service call. Within a week, the furnace started exhibiting the same problem & we were without heat again. I called McNeill and Eric came back on 2/11, and got the furnace running after repairing what was explained to be a drainage issue. Within a day, the furnace went out AGAIN and we were now about $400 into repairs with McNeill and still no working furnace in the middle of bitter cold temps. My husband finally called himself ... irate that we were dunking $$$ into repairs and wanted to know if were going to get a break on labor costs when they came again. On the 12th, Eric returned with his manager Eddie who was extremely rude to me. After going upstairs to look at furnace, he proceeded to lecture me about how he never would have accepted the job if he knew what it looked like in the attic, and how I needed to get someone "sooner than later" to address the amount of space there is up there to work, blah, blah, blah. He left, followed by Eric, with his last words being that since they started the job, they would not leave us in the cold (yeah, right!) And how he needed to do some research on the furnace to find out what part it may be before ordering cuz it would take 2 weeks for either to come in. Well, a day passed with us still freezing with no word from manager Eddie. My husband calls the next 2 days for status update, and leaves a message for him but no return callback. Finally, on 2/15, at 8am-ish, before heading out for an invasive surgery, my husband call and asks for Eddie explaining that he has been trying to reach him for two days. Last thing he needed was to come home from surgery to no heat in the house with no sign of resolution in sight. Anyway, guess what - Eddie was there, miraculously, and he told my husband that he had no update at all for him --- feeding him a line of BS!!! My husband says to him, "It sounds like you don't want to do this job. Should I call someone else?" And, immediately , Eddie replies, "YES". So much for not leaving us out in the cold ... he had no intention of coming back to deal with the problem - we paid almost $400 to McNeill Heating and they did not fix our furnace. After that conversation with the untrustworthy manager, Eddie, my husband called Hurley & David who got someone out to our house that same day and fixed the problem in one trip. The part needed did not take two weeks; it was in stock in their supply house (and they didn't charge us labor costs to get it like McNeill did when they went out for 45mins to get a part on one visit). And, the best/worst part is that when we asked the Hurley rep whether he felt there were any issues with how the furnace was situated up in the attic, he said "no, I have seen and done homes that are much, much worse than yours." Just goes to show you that Eddie the manager probably is in the wrong profession - he obviously cannot deal with working on units in smaller spaces and/or he does not know how talk to customers in a professional, polite and honest manner. DO NOT USE MCNEILL HEATING!!!

    Timely, extremely competent, and professional...Eric continues to provide excellent seasonal service tune-ups.

    We have always received great service from Eddie for more involved system tweaks and from Eric for ongoing maintenance.

    Annual tune up for our heating/AC system which McNeill had previously installed. Quality service with pleasant and knowledgeable personnel. Pointed out correct pressure readings for when gas service is upgraded.

    Eric was on time, confirmed his appointment, evaluated the problem, obtained parts, and skillfully completed the repair quickly. He politely answered our questions. In the future, we would be happy to have him continue to maintain our HVAC system and repair as needed.

    McNeill Heating performed unnecessary work! I heard whistling whenever my heat came on so I called McNeill heating because I have a 2 zone forced hot air furnace and I suspected that one of the zone dampers needed to be adjusted. They came over and installed a bypass duct which reduced the air flow by 50% and the whistling stopped. I asked them if they tried adjusting the damper first and they said no and charged me $800 for the job.

    Now I had a new problem because the house would take twice as long to heat up. Frustrated, I decided to remove the $800 bypass and plugged the holes they made in my ducts. Then I checked on-line for the manual and found the screw to adjust the damper. I turned it and voila, no more whistling and full air pressure! $800 wasted!😡

    In addition to the above, they also over tightened the screw on my April Air humidifier stripping it and left it in a non-working state until I discovered it. At least they came back and repaired this issue.

    Our furnace quit on one of the coldest day of the week. They came out as quickly as they could. Eddie was polite and did everything he could to help us out so we wouldn't freeze. We were very pleased with the other guys with him.

    I have been a customer with McNeill Heating &AC for 20 years. The McNeill Heating and air conditioning personnel are courtious and professional. They have been there for me when needed, and addressed any problem or issue promptly. I would recommend the folks at McNeill Heating for your heating and air conditioning needs.

    My parents air conditioner was worked on and right after the workmen left the air conditioner started getting very loud when it was operating. We called to have them come back and check the unit. They said a part needed to be replaced and would order the part, this was before July 4. My 91 year old father contacted McNeill's and was told that the part has not even been ordered. My 90 year old bedridden mother is without air conditioning thanks to the unprofessional attitude of McNeill's and their employees. They have been giving my poor father a run around. I have told him to file a report with the Better Business Bureau. I am thoroughly disgusted with the way this company is treating my parents.

    I've used Mcneil for the past 15 years and I've never had an issue. I recently built a house and they did all the systems on time. When I first started using them I overpaid the tech (not knowing ) and he came back 5 minutes later to give me the extra cash I gave him. Not sure what these other two idiots are talking about these guys are great.
