I have used Lamco for about 5 years, and the last exchange was likely the last. I had a furnace that was shutting down due to a roll-out switch detecting a over- temperature condition. When the service tech arrived he indicated that the switch was fine and that “he had to put a combustion analyzer on it” as the NEXT step. The catch is that if the combustion analyzer detects a problem he would be “required by law” to lock out the furnace. This was in February which would make an emergency replacement a priority. I asked him to leave and said I’d do my own research. I then received a snarky letter from their service manager indicating that I was putting my family at risk. Long story short, their diagnostic process is geared towards pushing you into a full replacement ($10k) rather than doing the real work of determining what is actually wrong. Rest of the story is I did my own research, and found that the burner tubes likely needed replacement. $140 and ten minutes of work later and the furnace runs just fine. It’s beyond disappointing that their service technicians don’t really try to diagnose the problem.
Lamco installed a new Mitsubishi indoor and outdoor unit in our Family room on Thursday. The installers, John, Shawn and Sergio, were friendly, efficient and made sure the units was working properly and reviewed the operating procedures with us before they left. The made sure all the areas were clean before they left. Great job Lamco!

They answered questions and provided information to educate us on how to safely maintain our system. When we finished our basement, Chris Hartson was extremely helpful in providing the best option for our situation - even though it was less expensive. We had a heat pump/AC and furnace installed to work with the existing ducts. Their design was appropriate for our needs, they were responsive to our priorities, the installation teams were professional and worked with us to make sure we got what we wanted and needed. We highly recommend Lamco.

They were really good about giving us an early appointment, since our hot water delivery was poor. The first tech could not solve the problem so another arrived later and was successful. The only downside was that they sold us the Rinnai system two years ago and don't have a system expert in the company now.

I had a heater in need of repair before the temperature dropped and they went above and beyond to repair it - from ordering the parts to installing them. When it came time to pay the bill, I didn't feel like the fee was exorbitant. I highly recommend Lamco!
