Jim Dorsey and Son, Inc.

On March 5, 2021 a tech came to look at our Lenox furnace that was making noise during start up. He gve us his opinion on the issue and stated some of the venting should be replaced and would return to take measurements for the materials. Days passed and no contact was made with what they were doing, when or what it would cost. I contacted them and did not get a satifactory answer. I was told the parts would have to be ordered from a vendor in Canada. Fast forward to May. Called the company again and was told they would contact the vendor and get right back to me. They got back to me and said the parts needed would be in the next day. We agreed to have the repair donw Monday, May 10th arriving between 7:00 and 8:00 AM. Had to call a 8:15AM to check on status of project. Was told they did not have the right parts and there would be a delay on repair. Cancelled repair.
No further contact with Dorsey.
First generation of Dorsey was great. This generation lacks follow up and customer service. Too bad.

I can't thank you enough, I have been a customer for several years and your company has always provided me with prompt, efficient, courteous and professional service. Recently I had Brad and his apprentice fix an issue with my original toilet in a home that is 35 years old, he offered a few suggestions and was knowledgeable and caring about the product and how it would benefit my home. We are extremely satisfied with it. This winter another 35 year old issue arose with the pipe leading to the back yard again Brad came to the house on time as promised, made a few suggestions was professional, courteous and efficient. I am sure I will be happy with the new piping that he installed. Over the past years everyone you have sent to my house has been great. Thank you for having such dedicated and reliable employees, that is a sign that they care about your name and reputation.

Very pleasant young men. Only issue is they left wire
on the floor..I was pulling back the rug to check on dryness and my finger got pierced by piece of wire.

Excellent prompt service at a realistic price. Promptly arrived at the designated time. We were extremely impressed with his knowledge and professionalism in explaining their diagnostics and repairing the Heat Pump A/C problem at hand. I would highly recommend their services.

Guys put in a backflow preventer. They come out in just days for the estimate and have your project booked in less than a week. Great work, clean looking, quick. Got more than I expected. I have a plumber that I use, but he's so overwhelmed with work it takes weeks to get him here. Great guy, but just to long to wait. I'll have them back again when needed. You can't beat the service and scheduling using a big company. More knowledge, more ideas and creativity. These guys have decades of experience, you get piece of mind with Dorsey, knowing it's right the first time and done fast.

Just had my home converted from oil to gas with Jim Dorsey and Son. Excellent service and they did a great job cleaning the area after removing my old system. I had gotten other prices but went with the reviews. I made a great choice. This is the only plumber I will be using in the future.

Kind, professional, early to the appointment. Very responsive answered all of the questions that I had, was very knowledgeable. We will be having our annual service down with Dorsey going forward. Highly recommend !

Repaired a shower valve. They were very nice and fixed the problem.

Prices seem high, but quality has been excellent for faucet replacements(100 year warranty) gas pool heater pilot lighting, and new toilet install. Plus new valves welded. All done with quiet confidence. No drama. No surprises.

Justin was friendly and professional. I would hire them again. Good quality work.
