Sila Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical

Water heater broke and flooded basement area. Called Lily at Sila and she managed to arrange for licensed plumber Michael to come over and get to work installing a new water heater within an hour. Cost was on the higher side $3179 - but Michael removed all excess water without charge; also did a great job. I ended up with an AO smith professional (commercial) grade water heater. I did some online checking after the fact and learned that there are real performance benefits and energy savings that come with higher quality water heaters.

Anyway it was great to get the problem addressed so quickly. I am willing to pay extra for service, quality and convenience.

Scheduling an appointment with Sila to fix my furnace in January 2023 was easy and they provided service the same day. My technician David was super helpful, knowledgeable, and worked quickly to resolve my issue. There's probably cheaper options out there but based on my experience Sila has a great reputation for a reason.

I had Sila fix my furnace recently and my technician Steve T was fantastic. Very responsive, knowledgeable, and great to talk to. He was on time and finished the job sooner than expected. Highly recommended

They came out and ripped out my old AC and heating system, and replaced it all in a day. When they came out to survey my house they told me on a Friday they could start work on a Monday. The turnaround time was amazing and I would highly recommend them to others.

I had the technician Steve to fix our boiler which we previous had two companies look at and said needed to be replaced. He arrived during the time frame given by the office and was very professional. Within 30 minutes he diagnosed the issue and even said he had parts on his truck to fix the issue right away. System has been running since he left and would highly recommend this company for any electrical, plumbing or HVAC means.

Michael L was prompt and courteous. Our burner had stopped working. He quickly diagnosed and replaced a bad thermocouple. Very happy with the service.

I called several providers looking to have a broken drain pipe fixed. Sila sent one of their technicians to the house the same day I called. Roy was very knowledgeable and very thorough, and walked us through the whole process. A couple of days later, the pipe was replaced with a minimum of fuss and disruption. Excellent work. I would definitively use Sila again.

Kenneth and his team did a fantastic job of trouble shooting multiple electrical issues. They were knowledgeable and experienced professionals that listened to my concerns and painstaking solved my issues at a fair price. I have also used Master Electrician Mario at Sila for my television installation and Sila for my recent heat pump repair. I’m very pleased with the Sila team and highly recommend this company.

David was professional and courteous in his communications with us while performing the work, pointing out a necessary repair in order to assure continued proper functioning of the system. We were quite pleased with his thoroughness, and look forward to continuing our relationship with him and the organization. Highly recommended!

Addendum: David returned as planned a few weeks later to perform the necessary repair to the boiler. We remain impressed with his knowledge and willingness to take the time to go over all the elements of maintaining a well functioning system. We are pleased with the service that has been provided. Update 4/18/23: David performed annual cleaning on 4 mini-split units. As usual, he did an excellent job, was neat and careful to clean up all areas, and was patient and helpful in answering all of our questions. We are pleased to continue utilizing his attentive services with Sila.

I was referred to Sila and happy I used them ! Matt Downey our technician was outstanding he was on time, knowledgeable and completed the work in a timely manner. He also provided me some informative tips on how to maximize the use of equipment installed ! He was patient and efficient which is much appreciated !! I would certainly recommend him and Sila to friends and family. I would also use them in the future as needed.
