BEST COMPANY EVER. Let me tell you, I called 25 companies to come and take a look at my water heater because the Flammable Vapor Sensor went off. This happened on a Friday and I thought it would go away, but Saturday morning it was still there and I started to panic because it's literally five days before thanksgiving and I have 7 people coming from Canada and NY. So, out of all the 25 companies I called, RCL Mechanical picked up. Unfortunately, Jaden couldn't figure out the problem, so we called back Monday and my mom yelled at poor Marie (she was frustrated and I apologized on her behalf, lol) and they sent Andrew (he was with someone else but I didn't get his name). Andrew and the other guy discovered it was the fuse box but they couldn't find it anywhere in stock. Josh called on Tuesday and told me that the part was discontinued and we would have to get a new water heater. I agreed and Marie scheduled me for Wednesday.

Now, here's the kicker. Austin came today (Wednesday) and not only did he discover that the pipe installed was illegal, but it was the WRONG WATER HEATER. We run on propane and the last contractor we hired installed a natural gas tank (Had the sensor not gone off, we could have potentially died from poisonous water or carbon monoxide poisoning down the line). But going based on the information given, Austin also installed a natural gas tank. However, when he went outside (because he couldn't understand why there was black soot in the illegal pipe) he saw the two propane tanks. He alerted the shop and drove all the way back there to get a liquid propane tank, and swapped the one he already installed and gave us new pipes (and it's so much nicer looking too). Austin has been here since 20 mins of 10 and left around 4 pm. Hopefully he ate when he was on the road to get the new tank. But he was so nice and patient and didn't even get mad when he saw it was the wrong tank.

Now we have 2 hours to kill before my family from Canada comes!

I would rate RCL Plumbing 10 stars if I could. They saved my Thanksgiving. Thank you soooooo much!

Dakota fixed a very leaky pipe and was on time and cleaned up after himself. He was also very courteous.

Brandon Soares did a great job diagnosing the issue, fixing the problem quickly and going an extra step of using the shop vac to clear the looses debris in the furnace box. Great job. RCL is my go-to guys for all my furnace issues. Ed Kelly

Austin was very helpful in explaining everything I needed to know in a way in which I didn't have to be in the business to understand. He was on time and was very patient and understanding of how many questions I kept throwing at him. He took the time to help me go through the process of what's involved in the job and reassured me that the decision I was making will be a benefit to me in the long run. Jayden and apprentice (sorry I never got his name) we're very professional doing the work. Always there at the time he set the day before with us. They kept everything on the schedule that he mentioned before the job got started. I applaud their attention to detail and their professionalism.
