Kerivan-Lane is a terrific company. If you need any type of plumbing, heating, or air conditioning services this is the place to call. I have had occasion to have services provided for three different jobs this past year.
First, the company installed a fitjusi ductless air conditioner for me. Kevin B. took the time (with great patience) to explain its workings to me. Andrew and Anthony (?) assisted with installation and a small trouble shooting issue which they quickly and efficiently resolved.
Kerivan-Lane also replaced an aged water heater for me. Again, Andrew came through with some of his colleagues. Andrew arrived a half hour after my call and arranged for an immediate replacement.

Another of their great employees came out during the winter to do some needed minor work on my furnace.

This week Tom came and did yearly maintenance on the a/c units and the compressor. Because of the way my yard is situated it was difficult installing the compressor in the designated area and, over a year, the compressor shifted a bit. Tom noted and reported this and the next day Kevin B. returned and, with a colleague, placed thick pads under the unit. It’s as sturdy as can be and looks great.

All in all, this is a great company with amazing employees. I always felt I could trust them and would never think to call a different company. Michael, the service manager, always quickly responded to calls and arranged for the necessary appointments. Thank you, Kerivan-Lane.

I had a replacement boiler installed. The estimate given to me was extremely reasonable and the price for the work was exactly as estimated. Installation was done three days after I agreed to the replacement, which was extremely helpful as my oil boiler had begun leaking badly. The installation was efficient and quiet, lasted slightly more than a full day, and clean-up and removal of old parts was exceptional. A great job!

We've dealt with Kerivan-Lane since 1978 for fuel oil. heating maintenance, and gas hot water maintenance and updating. The service has varied from excellent to excellent... :-) The plumber Ron installed a modern sink faucet we bought from Home Depot but was diagnosed to be faulty. The replacement took Ron only about 10 minutes to replace, followed by substantial testing.

The early demise of my gas boiler caused me to call four different companies to come provide quotes for a new high efficiency gas boiler. Only one company (Kerivan-Lane) listened to my needs and provided a reasonable quote. When installation day arrived the crew worked hard to make sure we had hot water by the end of the day and returned early the next day to complete the job.

If a contest existed for gas boiler installations that look nice and works reliability (the important part) Joe (the installation plumber). Would win it for his attention to detail and his dedication to his craft.

As you might be able to tell. I am very happy with Kerivan-Lane and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends, family and anyone who asks.

Kerivan Lane installed two Fujitsu mini-split systems (two outside units and four inside units). Rick Dorney handled the sales and design process. He was very professional. He avoided the temptation to low-ball the system design (and therefore the price) even though he knew I was also talking with other contractors who suggested lower cost designs. Rick stuck to his design and ultimately convinced me that it was the appropriate one. When I compared apples to apples designs, Kerivan Lane's price was very competitive.

Once we signed up with KL, the installation team there took over. They were able to schedule our installation within ten days. The installation team was professional. The visible parts of the system were installed in a manner to limit their impact on the appearance of the house. They cleaned up thoroughly each day.

We are a few weeks into using the new systems. So far so good.

Kevin B. came out to fix my central AC today. He was incredibly polite and professional. He worked efficiently and was a pleasure to have in my house. The response of Kerivan was prompt as well. The emergency guy I spoke to the night before advised me to wait until the morning, which turned out to be great advice. I called at 8:00am and my ac was up and running by 1:00pm. I am very pleased.

I recently purchased an old house with an ancient oil furnace. The system stops working almost every week and thus it is a huge headache. However, the amazing people at Kerivan-Lane are always extremely nice and fix the problem on a timely manner. They are always polite and provide a speedy service. I highly recommend this company to anyone! They treat customers like family.

My experience has been mixed. More good than bad over the years, however my recent service experience gives me pause. The technician who came out to do the annual service on my furnace didn't tighten the new valve he placed on the oil burner, resulting in leaking oil, a lingering oil smell and, frankly, a fire hazard - until I discovered it a couple of days later. Had to rip up carpeting nearby and K-L sent another technician who did a great job cleaning up the mess.

Great trouble shooters! - Our AC system had several hard to troubleshoot symptoms - with hot weather on the way. Kerivan's technicians found the problem, ordered a new part, and had us back in service long before the heat. Way to go!
