Let me start this review out by saying I never usually take the time to write reviews. However, after multiple close family and friends who recommended this company I gave them a call. I first spoke with Jake about some issues that I was having with heating system. He was able to have a service tech out the next morning to take a look. After the tech quickly diagnosed the source of my issues and discussing my options with Jake, I decided that it was better to swap out my old oil system for a new propane system. Jake was very informative and more than helpful when it came to deciding which system and route I wanted to go with. After making the decision Jake was able to come out the very next morning to provide me with an estimate, which I reviewed amongst friends in the trade, and man was it a super good price. Since I was going to have to have the propane company come and add propane tanks, (we all know how that process goes) I finally had a day set. I called Jake to let him know about the day for the propane tanks and to my happy surprise he was able to work things around allowing his techs to come the same time to make sure that I did go without a proper working heating system any longer than I absolutely had to. The day prior and the day of the install I got a nice email confirming the appointment as well as a photo and name of the techs who would be arriving, which I felt was a nice touch. The techs arrived on time and were very professional. They were able to have my old unit removed and completely installed in a day and a half. Once the job was completed I even received a follow up phone call from Jake to make sure everything went well, that the house was heating sufficiently, and to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I could not have been happier with my choice to go with climate design and Jake. I would absolutely be using this company again in the future and for sure will be recommending Jake and his team in the future. Here is a photo of the completed work!!
Been without Heat and Hot water for the past 4 days, second time in 2 weeks (first time was 5 days) due to technician's failure to understand our Rinnai non-condensing boiler. They replaced the same motherboard 3 times and it now has to be replaced again due to pulling a water sensor instead of an air sensor. I had to call them today to find out what is going on. The utter lack of concern by their management to keep us informed is unconscionable. We have a service contract with them, but they have told me the tech is out doing a maintenance job before dealing with a no-heat emergency situation. The 5 different tech's who have been here have been nice people. Two of them had never seen a Rinnai Boiler before, one, the owners son, was learning about Rinnai on the job. I blame management for poor communication with us. I do understand the part supplier was closed on the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Please note, I am on home Dialysis and a Diabetic so being with out heat and hot water for 9 days is a problem I should not have to deal with. Not once in those days has a manager or owner called me. Imagine using 2 electric heater to heat my house only to 62' and what the additional cost is!
Had to replace 2 oil fired steam boilers that were 70+ years old. Called the team and they installed new equipment, had asbestos removed, removed old oil tanks and did a GREAT job in Methuen Very satisfied with the entire team Thanks again Buddy, Jake, Randy and team
I'll tip my hat to the fact that they got to my home the same day that I called them but charging $550 for a part that could be perchaced on Amazon for $126 (and refusing to install one that they don't supply) seems a little unfair. The last time I had to deal with these people they wanted to charge me $1,000+ to clean a part that took me 20 min. to do myself (thanks to the tech for telling me how to do it) Be forwarned If you are not mechanically inclined or don't ask questions be prepared to get worked over!!!
Friendly and professional employees. They were very quick with the install of the ductless heat and AC unit. Cleaned up after themselves and spent time going over how to operate the system. Can’t recommend this company enough.
Had a complete new oil furnace and hot water system installed by them and couldn't be happier with the service and the pricing. They were extremely competitive with pricing. They had the whole install completed in a day and a half, which included removal of all the old equipment. The techs were very knowledgeable and respectful ( including wearing a mask the entire time in our home ). Would recommend highly
They installed a new water heater that is not energy efficient and not eligible for Mass Save Rebate. The rebate was declined saying the water heater UEF was less than 0.68. When checking the Bradford White website for the model number that they installed, it said it was a discontinued model.
I recently used Climate Design new plumbing service to replace an old tired looking tub/shower enclosure with a walk in shower. I have been looking for close to a year get this project done and have run into more road blocks.. the job is too small, you live to far away, you can’t have a walk in shower up here, it was both overprice and under priced … but I got none of that with Climate Design. Jake, Paul and Mitch were all a pleasure to work with. Paul and Mitch were perfect gentlemen and respected my home. They completely lined my stairs and upstairs with heavy paper as to not ruin my hardwood floors. Mitch made sure when he was mudding and sanding that he contained as much of the dust in the bathroom. He always cleaned up after himself by sweeping and vacuuming. . Both always set my expectations as to what would be accomplished each day – I was promised that I would be able to use the new walk in shower the next day and the promise was kept. The installation went much smoother than I expected – I was expecting plumbing issues or flooring issues – there were none. I now have a beautiful walk in shower and a bathroom that makes be smile every day. I am so glad that I went with Climate Design and would not hesitate to use them for other plumbing jobs.
Worst customer service, called because I was having trouble with my furnace, they send a guy who did some work even without asking and charge me for it, same day at night the same problem presents and when I called back I spoke with NICOLE who claimed to be a manager of the place and she said that I will have to pay again for them to stop by and check the system. I seriously don't recommend this place.
