Bottom line = stay away from this company, super unprofessional, unresponsive, and poor quality.

1. Seemed like sump pump wasn't working in our basement
2. Called McMahon plumbing
3. McMahon plumber visited and said sump pump was working fine
4. McMahon plumber replaced $8 valve without authorization and charged us $350
5. McMahon office did not respond to phone, email, or web contact outreach to resolve
6. Seems like sump pump still isn't working
7. Called Alewife Co.
8. Alewife plumber visited and diagnosed sump pump as broken
9. Alewife plumber replaced entire sump pump in 30 mins
10. Alewife Co. charged $300 total
11. Everything is working great

John of McMahon Plumbing was excellent, showed up on time very polite and courteous, he wore his mask and had cover's for his shoes. Job was done in a fast and timely manner he also cleaned up behind his self, McMahon and Plumbing is outstanding. I would definitely use them again if I need any plumbing work done.

We had leak in our bathroom tub. We called McMahon Plumbing & Heating for service and they came right away. Adam found the cause of the leak and made the repair. They came within an hour of my call and determined my leak was from a pipe behind the kitchen sink & kitchen cabinet! They removed all the damaged wood , insulation & replaced the pipe quickly! Before they started they quoted me a reasonable price which was very nice to hear!! Before they left they tested everything to ensure the leak was resolved! Highly recommend them! And will use them going forward!

We purchased a tankless water heater and the team did a great job with the installation. They were very professional and had quality workmanship with all the work involved. Also we are very happy with their prompt response to our call.

We think McMahon plumbing walks on water, pun intended. It's one of the greatest find in our old age. Greatly recommend them. You will not find a better, more honest or more decent plumber. They care more about their customers than making a buck. Came to help me out for free, could have charged for just coming, but didn't. Can't praise them enough. Also, their staff is very knowledgeable and the office staff makes customer service a joy.

McMahon Plumbing has been performing the annual service on the high efficiency heating and hot water system in our home. We have had the same technician (Adam) for the last three years. Adam is professional, punctual ( arrives when they say he will), explains all that he will be doing and gives us the estimated cost prior to doing the work. NOT GOOD, NOT PROFESSIONAL AND NOT SERIOUS COMPANY!
I called the company and scheduled a first visit with $99 charge to have my ac unit looked at. On the day of the appointment, Chris came and wanted to be paid $129 (before even start to work) and he was saying that his name was different from McMahon... I did not understand this part... Anyways, I was there with him for the all time, I explained the problem more than once and the technician kept saying he could not help us because he did not know about the model of the ac unit and showing a lack in efforts to really try to help me to solve this problem...
After all of this, we asked to Chris to give us a quote of either repairing the existing ac unit or changing it completely, it has been almost one week and no one from the office called me back and followed up to inform me about the quote and how to have my problem solved! Please notice that I have still my ac unit broken and it is an emergency situation!!! After this Chris wanted to get $71 just because he was super slow and it took a life for him to understand what was wrong after I told him and explained twice what was wrong!!!
He seemed really confused, very slow-pace, not expert and not willing to work and have my problem solved.
I am really disappointed about this company! Stay away!
