Arctic Refrigeration

I own 2 places in Ocean City, Maryland, and have used Arctic as my HVAC contractor for many years. I have service contracts for both places. Arctic always responds promptly and keeps appointments on time for annual maintenance work. The times (once in each place - one of which is a rental unit) that have required service the technician has stayed on the job until the issues were resolved. This year I am having both HVAC units replaced due to the impending R-22 refrigerant problem. One unit has been replaced and the other will be done on February 1. Arctic has always been entirely trustworthy since my home is 380 miles distant and I cannot always be there when service or replacement is performed. There prices are competitive and the office staff is congenial and helpful. What's not to like??? They get 5 stars out of 5 and I feel confident in recommending this company to others. Paul L. Meier

I have been a customer of Arctic Refrigeration for many years. I have had work done on my furnace and central air conditioning system. The office staff and technicians are great to work with. I am looking to replace my 30 year old furnace and I will be going to them to do the work. I definitely would recommend them.

As the owner of a convenience store and apartment building for 20+ years, I have had many “disaster” moments with refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and furnaces. I have been so fortunate to be able to have Arctic to help me....predawn walk-in cooler emergencies with the words “We’ll be right there...”; late afternoon and evening emergencies with quick response and quick fixes before any product was lost. Very professional, very reasonably priced,very helpful.

Arctic is one of the only contractors I have ever dealt with that is reliable and does a good job for a good price. They are responsive and quick and do a fabulous job. I would recommend them to anybody.

I was recommended Arctic Refrigeration, Greenfield, MA for their reasonable handling of heating and cooling related repair jobs. I had these guys do some minor duct work on my furnace in April 2017. I had two people work on it for a couple of hours and the technician informed me that I would receive the invoice by mail in a few days. I was expecting the bill to be reasonable. However, when I received the bill I was shocked to see the excessive labor charges. I tried to talk to the owner to see if he could be reasonable, but he did not budge much. What was even worse was that they were also charging me for the driving distance to get to my house and they were not accepting major credit cards.

I would certainly not recommend this company to anyone unless you are prepared to pay for enormous labor charges for simple repair jobs.

Most honest and attentive company around. They handle everything from my commercial refrigeration and HVAC to my house's radiant heat and mini splits. Excellent work!

They installed a new furnace in rapid time, turned the water back on after it was off and we're very helpful. I highly recommend them.

Arctic came right away when I called and said I had no heat, even though it was after hours. Very knowlegable, polite and efficient. Price was very reasonable. I highly reccomend Arctic!
