Ideal Air HVAC

Kevon did a great job cleaning my mother's dryer vent system. Spent 2 and a half hours. Would call Ideal Air again.

Excellent experience from booking to completion. Communication about job and scheduling was great. The work was thorough and I had confidence in the workers and the quality of their work. I had an unusual problem with my 2 zone heat and thermostats and they fixed it!!!!

1.5 hours AFTER their four hour window they finally arrived to perform routine maintenance. This after calling us with an arrival time they missed by 2.5 hours. THEN they took a functioning system (we had heat and hot water BEFORE they messed with our system) and interrupted our service. Three hours later they were still trying to figure out why the system stopped working while they were doing routine maintenance. It was us that suggested the problem might be an interface with the thermostat - which it turned out to be. At 8:45pm last night, after they had been there struggling without answers for over three hours, we were promised by Kevin and his sidekick that we would have a follow up visit by Olean at 8 am this morning. It is now 9:15 and no visit, no call and the company has not answered their phone or responded to any messages. We had a great experience with Olean this summer, but based upon the level of disrespect and incompetence we experienced yesterday and today...I would recommend against doing business with this company. Oh, they left our boiler set over 180 degrees, we were lucky not to have been severely burned before discovering this.

Update.....Olean came by the next day to assist with the situation. His techs had blamed us for the change in temperature. He did fix some things and noticed a valve that was leaking quite heavily that had not been doing so prior to their "routine maintenance". He didn't have the replacement valve with him, but brought it out several days later. That visit cost an additional $400. All in all, I've upped the rating a bit from my initial 1 star, we'll give them another chance...Olean was very pleasant to deal with, but the "routine maintenance" was costly, unpleasant and I never saw anyone complete a "routine maintenance checklist," so I am still a little unconfident that a thorough job was accomplished in the three visits.

Kevin and Kevon were very helpful in assisting me. They answered any questions I had and were quite friendly.

Great experience. The AC technician Odean was friendly, professional, knowledgable, honest, and quickly provided an affordable fix when other outfits had told me to expect a gigantic bill to replace the entire AC system. When I was confused or unclear, he was patient with me. Planning to set up a maintenance contract with these guys to avoid stress in future.

I contacted Ideal Air due to issues with my AC. I did get an appointment very quickly even though it was mid-July to diagnosis the problem. The tech that came out believed the issue was the TXV but wanted to add half lb of freon into the system to make sure it was not undercharged. After adding 1.2 lb into the system instead, I was left with a bill of just over $200 and a promise with an estimate to fix the TXV. Ideal Air made no effort to follow up. Multiple calls ended at the service manager who promised they would look into it. Now a month later, no estimate was ever provided and I was forced to go with another company to solve my AC issues.

I would not recommend Ideal Air since I feel that I paid them to do nothing.

Technicians did not have correct part on their service ban and had to go out to local plumbing house and get correct part. This was a little bit of a delay, but once they had the part the work was performed quickly and correctly.

From booking the appointment online to finishing the repair on our central a/c, couldn’t ask for anymore. Odean was on time for the appointment, explained completely what was going on with the system and repaired it. He was very professional and knowledgeable. We are very happy with the quality of his work and the price was very fair. Job well done.

Great service! Odean was on time and checked our A/C as we thought there was an issue. Turns out everything was OK after he reviewed outdoors and indoors. Didn't even charge for the visit. We will definitely use Ideal HVAC in the future!

Their technician arrived 15 mins early to service our dryer vent. He did the job in about 45 minutes, and left everything meticulously clean. He took pictures of the areas that he cleaned, and made sure that I was satisfied before leaving. Though I had to play phone tag with their office staff several times before confirming our appointment, I will absolutely hire them again!
