Always have a good experience with McDonald Heating. Gene is the best, always takes the time to explain what needs to be done and why. I might not like when I have to pay😃 but I know the work will be done correctly and any problems they always stand by their work. I have been dealing with them a very long time and have always been satisfied. Thank you Gene for keeping my furnace working.

UNFORTUNATELY the owner apparently doesn’t understand how HVAC systems work. Parts fail. This is a part that failed on a system that was installed two years ago and has been maintained since the installation CONTINUOUSLY FOR 2 YEARS by their company. There were no problems with the systems until the day they performed the annual maintenance this year.

PART FAILURE NOT INSTALLATION ISSUE
Your paper work they you completed says cracked pan leaking water. You did not “find an installation” issue. More lies.

UNFORTUNATELY they committed fraud by providing misinformation regarding a warranty claim for a covered part. All you had to do was submit the warranty claim , they send the part and you put it in. You’re still providing misinformation just on Google now instead of just to me. The internet has a long memory.

UNFORTUNATELY you refused to process the warranty claim , receive the part and install it in a timely manner of less than 2 months which is not priority service.

UNFORTUNATELY by taking my money for and not fulfilling the contract that you created when you took my money you committed fraud.

Having a service plan for almost 4 years we have been very happy with the quality of service s performed. While having our AC serviced the worker accidently stepped through the ceiling. We understand that accidents happen and it will be repaired but I feel as though the service charge should of been waved for the inconvenience of having a hole in our ceiling for a few days.

My oil tank started to leak very slowly on a Saturday. We called and were able to get someone to come up and patch the tank for us. On Monday they called with estimates for a replacement tank. The following Tuesday they were here and installed the new tank. They were extremely fast and friendly!

I called McDonald Heating after my furnace wouldn’t stay running, kept shutting off randomly. They sent a tech out that afternoon to assess the situation. He was very friendly and professional and took the time to explain what happened and what needed to be done. Basically the lines kept freezing because they weren’t properly insulted, so he was able to get them warmed up and wrapped so the oil could pass through without issue. Haven’t had a problem since!

The AC was not cooling my apartment at all for a very long time. 'Gene' from McDonald Heating & Air Conditioning company identified a few issues inside the apartment and also the issues with the cooing system on the roof. He came prepared and made his magic and fixed all the issues at once. For the first time, I'm enjoying the cool air in my apartment! Gene's knowledge and excellent service is greatly appreciated! McDonald is the type of contractor that adds a 200-300% markup on parts for a simple thermocouple replacement. Luckily I work for a plumbing & heating company so it’s quite easy to call BS on this behavior.

My mom is in her 60s and my dad died years ago. Typical easy victim profile. Looks like they missed a few things with their “seasonal checkup” they performed and are still trying to charge.

Most of the reviews on this page look like fraudulent accounts. The page administrator can take this up with me personally if they want to rectify the issue.

Take your business elsewhere.

I called McDonald Heating, A/C and Plumbing for a friend, who was away and needed a tub drain cleaned out. Gene arrived on time, and reviewed the plumbing and the problem, and decided it was originally diagnosed incorrectly by someone else. A short time later the tub was draining like new, and for less cost than quoted by the original plumber. Gene was not only professional, but honest and left the bathroom in great shape - couldn't tell he was there. I highly recommend these guys.

Service tech showed up on time. He was polite, efficient and left the area he worked in clean. Price quoted in advance was exactly what I was charged. I will definitely use McDonald HVAC again for my next annual cleaning.

called five air conditioning companies to obtain same day service on my first floor air conditioner (Outside temp was 90) . McDonald Heating, Air Conditioning was the only company that responded and sent a tech. to the house within hours of my initial phone call.

The tech. trouble shot the system and determined that the furnance panel door switch was defective and would not allow the system to run. The door switch shuts the system off when the furnance panel door is removed. He replaced the switch and everything worked fine.

Of all the companies I have dealt with over 40 years, McDonald Heating and Air Conditioning gave the best service I have ever experienced.
