They charged 220$ for capacitor which costs 20- 50$ max and service fee of 180$ + total of 404$ for a capacitor change and this is non-emergency call.i have checked with others and they do check other maintenance stuff and charge max of 300$ . The guy came in didnt even spend a min to look at hownis the system rather just left once system started working . Highly over rated I would never call them again as still they arr local to Ashland.

I needed a replacement for the corroded water connection to the washing machine, the rockstar plumber Hunter worked non-stop and did a fantastic job. He was also incredibly polite. He did a few other small fixes on the bathroom & outdoor faucet. I will definitely call Martel again for any plumbing/HVAC jobs.

First time I called regarding an issue with my AC they immediately classified my issue as an 'emergency repair' which of course means you will pay a premium and were ready to come same day. I told them I dont need emergency service since it wasn't going to be hot and AC wasn't necessary. I was told first available appointment would be in 3 weeks, I did not schedule the appointment since it was not within the timeframe I wanted to get the repair done. A few hours later, I get a text that my appoint was scheduled for same day with only 15 minutes notice, then a call from the technician saying they could be at my house in 5 minutes. I informed the tech that I did not make an appointment and I dont need emergency service, and he said he would waive the fee. I was no longer at home so I did not schedule.

Now I called to reschedule - Somehow I was able to get a non-emergency service within 2 days, I booked the appointment. Martel did not show up in the time window and did not call.

Clearly they try to get an emergency service fee even if they can provide service in normal hours. They had no regard for my time or schedule, poor customer service. Even their standard rates are higher than competition...

I called Martel after getting a quote from another company on a commercial unit. We were told we needed to replace the unit for over $10,000. Martel came in and within minutes spotted the quick and easy repair that needed to be done. I can't recommend this company enough!

I called in the morning because the heat would not come on. That afternoon Daniel Chunilall was sent. He checked the furnace and the thermostat. He determined the thermostat was not working and needed to be replaced.The heat had never worked so well. He explained everything he needed to do and why. He was very professional and efficient.

Martel came to my house this morning to help disconnect a stove prior to a new installation being delivered. Jake took care to make sure the floor didn't get scratched while moving the unit away from the wall which was much appreciated. Went so fast and so quiet the kids never even woke up :D

This is the WORST place to do business with. We had a "simple" problem of a leaking faucet that they now created into a bigger problem. Jake came twice, once to assess and then order a part and another time to bring the wrong part. Charged us for both visits even though second one was their fault, not ours. Third time, Brandon came and installed a faucet that he advised us to purchase and now the overflow doesn't work so he had "order a part" to fix it. This was over one month ago and they have ghosted us! We have called and called and no one responds. Once we received a response from Brandon who told us they have no help in the office and too many in the field and he would call me back that day with an update, never to hear from them again. Oh wait, we have heard from them, they have sent us invoices. This is the most pathetic company. Horrible work. Horrible customer service. All around BAD.
