Amazing plumber! We had a pipe burst and out r basement had about 6” of water. Not only was he the only one able to come out that day, but Alex arrived shortly after my call. Alex is an amazing plumber and will not only will he be the only plumber in Amherst I use, but I will and would highly recommend him to anyone in the area in need of an amazing plumber.

I called them over the 4 th of July weekend about a water heater that was leaking, Alex answered all my questions over the phone offered a great new unit and beat the local competition by $1000. I would hole hearted recommend this small business to anyone who wants friendly service, valve for your money and solid advice. I am a customer for life, most of the other companies didn’t even bother answering the phone or had a wait time of a month or more, where they were willing to fit me in on a Saturday. If you need something fix call them first.

Alex was hired to install a mini split heating and cooling system. Poor workmanship, unreliable, unprofessional and did not complete the job according to manufacturers guidelines. Did not pass town inspections and was fined.

Alex installed heat and air conditioning mini splits in our entire house. He is a stellar plumber and businessman. There was an issue with one unit due to manufacturing defect; he dealt with it immediately. He worked with our schedule, provided all the paperwork we needed to get a rebate. I highly recommend him. His office staff is friendly and communicative, very efficient. I will use them every time.

Alex is the best! He came on a Sunday to replace our water tank! He was so helpful. We don’t know what we would have done without him. I highly recommend amherst plumbing & heating!

Alex was very calm, thorough and professional. He was able to correct a critical issue left undone by another plumber and cleverly solved a few installation issues on the faucet leaving everything in a very professional manner. I will definitely call him again for any future plumbing needs. Alex was also a great communicator and spoke knowledgeably about what he was doing and made helpful recommendations.

I have had the experience of using Amherst Plumbing on two different occasions. Both times Alex was extremely helpful. He fit me in both times and repaired a toilet and a sump pump. Their pricing was very reasonable and their service was available very quickly both times. Alex did an excellent job with my sump pump and repaired the problem and saved me from having to buy a new pump. I highly recommend their services. I have already spoken to him about another plumbing project. Highly recommended. You won't be disappointed.

Working with Alex was a pleasure. He is among the very few HVAC/contractors who stick to their word, both on price, and quality. Alex will not disappoint. He takes his time to perform excellent work, at a fair price, and, most importantly-honestly. It is nice to know there is NO question on who we will use for the foreseeable future, for these services.

Alexander came on a Saturday night during a holiday weekend to fix my leaky pipe. He explained the situation thoroughly and charged me an EXTREMELY fair rate, no up charge for being a Saturday night. He could not have been nicer and is clearly trying to grow his business through great prompt service!

We had a leaking shower upstairs. Through recommendation, we reached out to Alex. He dropped by on his way back from another job and quickly determined that it was due to an improperly sealed drain. The improperly sealed drain would leak only if the water backs up due to some partial clogging of the drainage system. He was able to reseal the drain and the leak is gone! He struck me as someone very trustworthy, professional and kind. He will no doubt be our go-to guy for plumbing and heating going forward!
