    Short version...
    Terrible AC company. The job they do is in and out quick... cursory fix with a band-aid. Customer service is poor and service recovery nonexistent. Their manager, Paul, isn’t able to have a difficult conversation without yelling.

    Use a different company and save yourself the hassle.

    Full Details below:
    Called them for service and evaluation of AC unit last year. They looked at the unit and said everything looked ok. Tech was very nice... seemed to know his stuff.

    Last month we had a leak from the unit. They came out and added refrigerant and a filter and said the leak was fixed...no other problems and it wouldn’t leak anymore. This tech was very nice but definitely not as knowledgeable as last years tech.

    3 days later the leak was not fixed. And we had significant ceiling damage. They returned and a different tech said the drip pan was rusty and had many holes in it which had been there for a long time. The first tech didn’t evaluated the drip pan, instead just fixed what might caused the leak into the drip pan.

    Very unfortunate, had the drip pan been recognized as faulty, with multiple rusty holes they might have more careful about how they fixed the leak ...could have even done what I ended up doing and put a plastic bin to catch any future leak in the drip pan.

    They didn’t, and AC unit continued running and leaking into the drip pan which in turn leaked through all the rusted holes into the ceiling. Ceiling was ruined and needed to be torn out.

    Speaking with Paul about it throughout the process was the most disappointing. He is not able to have a difficult conversation without getting defensive and angry and yelling. It’s unfortunate that their customer service lead person is so unprofessional and unable to control his emotions. We called him 3 times to discuss the fallout of all this, and left voicemails and messages and never got a phone call back. We finally called and talked to him when he happened to be in the office.

    This company didn’t know what they were doing, then instead of being reasonable and have a discussion proceeded to yell at us about why they were right and we were wrong about everything. Not how customer service is done by 5 star companies.

    Lastly, my parents were having AC problems this week as well ...and I went to help them...and found Dee had wired their thermostat incorrectly! The dampers to their main zone was never opened.

    We have now found that there are much better AC companies in our area that actually care about their work and their customers.

    Called with questions about converting my central air to a heat pump setup. Sales rep arrived at time specified. Nice gentleman seemed knowledgeable. Promised me a quote. Never received one. Called after 2 weeks requesting quote and a call from the sales rep as I had questions about gov. rebates. Never heard back. Called again a week later with same requests. two weeks later STILL NO RESPONSE !!!
    If this is how they do business stay away !!

    my central air broke beginning of summer after paying 1600.00 for new compressor still not working, they added refrigerant on two separate service calls, still not working, put dye in to find leak, came found leak said cannot repair til november and additional cost 1200.00++, billed 400.00 for telling me that. So whole summer no air conditioning, and paid well over 2,000.00, now they want more money. awful company takes advantage of people would never recommend them.

    After dealing with another HVAC company who made false claims stating that a part of the furnace was broken, we had someone from Dee come. Long story short, the other company’s technician would have had to have taken hours to take apart the area of the furnace to take the picture we were shown by the other company. Since then, we have only dealt with Dee. Their staff, technicians, and service are beyond compare. The other reviewer said Dee spent barely any time at their home. I can assure you that has never been the case with us. We have a yearly contract to maintain both our heat and a/c. If you want quality work done for a fair price, use Dee!

    Horrible, the most unprofessional company. I had someone come out for a quote, he was wonderful. Waited a week for estimate, spoke with the owner and he was supposed to follow up with me. I called and left messages several times, apparently they don't want work and don't have the courtesy to call back.

    Our A/C unit began to putter-out late afternoon on a 90+ degree day. We called DEE at about 7:30pm on a weeknight, their answering service answered and told us someone would call us back. Our phone call was returned in a timely manner and to our surprise they came out that night within 90-minutes of our initial phone call. The technician was very courteous and professional. He repaired the problem in about 20-minutes time and was on his way after explaining to us in detail what had happened. Within 2-hours of our initial phone call and by 9:30pm at night our A/C unit was repaired and working again which is very fortunate as we had hot, panting Bull Dogs in the house waiting patiently for the cool air to return. In my eyes....DEE went above and beyond and myself and my family are very thankful for that. Joe Well Done DEE!
