I have a maintenance contract with McCrea for my A/C, furnace, and home humidifier. It is up to the customer to remember to call and make the twice-a-year appointments. I called in April for my summer maintenance appointment, and their first available opening was not until June. The day before my appointment, I received reminders by email and text with a 3-hour time window. The next morning I received a text, email and personal call from Carlos telling me that he was on his way. The text and email even had a picture of him. He was polite and thorough as he tested out the various components of the equipment. He explained to me what he was doing at every step and asked if I had any questions. He was here for about 45 minutes total. I think McCrea has a good combination of electronic record keeping, automated communication, personal interaction, and skilled technicians that make the maintenance contract work efficiently. We have been satisfied enough to renew our contract for another year.

Exceptional experience from start to finish replacing HVAC. Shane was extremely responsive to my many emailed questions. I wish some of my employees were as responsive! Brian, the technician, showed up on time, was professional and friendly and cleaned everything up like they'd never been here. Great value and customer service. Highly recommend McCrea.

I couldn't be happier! Brian and Ray were top notch. They did a superior job on two major installs, cinching every loose wire, making my tiny closet work, and they left the area cleaner than how I gave it to them. Excellent explanation of important levers and operations. Thoroughly knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy. This was a large expense, but I felt at ease the entire time with them and with the substantive warranties that come along with their work. I recommend.

I'm very pleased with McCrea's service from start to finish. It was quick and easy to get an appointment. Special kudos to the tech they sent, Vincent, who was very courteous and professional, and he explained what he was doing, and provided helpful info throughout the appointment. He got through all of the work very efficiently and with no issues. I hope they send him every time. With this being my first experience with McCrea, I would definitely recommend them.

When your tech arrived, he let me know that the alert/error codes that I was seeing in the app were the result of a failed app update by Lennox. Even though there was nothing for him to repair or troubleshoot on our end, I decided to pay for the service call (in good faith) since he came to the house and explained the issue with the software update.
I don’t understand why someone in your office didn’t explain the failed software update to me when I mentioned the alert/error codes on the phone before I made an appointment for a service call. If I was given the explanation on the phone, I would not have scheduled the service call. It appears to me that I have payed $100+ dollars just to be informed that my system is fine and that Lennox has a failed app update.

Called McCrea for an estimate and John P. came out to my place a couple days later for no cost/no obligation estimate for a new heat pump. He spent a lot of time figuring out what I needed and giving me options. We came up with a good solution for my situation and I was expecting an install later next week. Well, he emailed me that evening to say he thought he could get a team out in the morning if they had the equipment. Next morning, sure enough, I got an email saying they could do the install if I could meet them. I raced home and they beat me there. The level of detail the team put into the install was exceptional. They did the best quality work I've seen, and I've seen a lot of AC installations. On top of that, the price ended up being better than any of the other quotes I could get out of other companies. Really happy I chose McCrea, and I think their high ratings and reviews are earned.

McCrea has a horrible telephone system. It takes 3 people before you reach anyone who can schedule an appointment. Brandy the final person I spoke to each of 3 times was pleasant and knew what she was doing.
The installer of two HVAC were awful. They left both units emitting an awful level of noise so I couldn't carry on a conversation. A call, again ending up with Brandy, resulted in another technician who slightly improved the problem. I gave up until I needed the heat 3 months after installation and one unit had no heat. Another 3 calls and Brandy setup an appointment for 1 to 5.PM,I received an email the day of the appointment changing it to the AM. More phone calls. Again Brandy and I accepted the appointment change. Vincent S. came out and spent 1.5 hours in which he found the the airflow on each unit was set almost twice as high as it should have been. The heat switch had not been turned on by the installers and Vincent corrected that and corrected the pipe noises with padding and adjusting the connection. VINCENT WAS GREAT AND VERY PERSONABLE.

I called McCrea on Sunday because my furnace was blowing out cold air, a furnace that they installed 15 months ago. I received a call on Monday stating their first appointment was today between the hours of 8 to noon. They called yesterday to confirm the appointment, I said yes and tried to get a feeling on a around about time they will respond because A so I can tell the job the hours I need off and B I can try and have the house warm enough so my young children can have a warm house to walk into. All I got was its between 8 to 12 And it's not covered under warranty. If I realized the furnace was bad three weeks ago when it was 70 degrees and I didn't need heat it wouldn't be a deal. But now the nights are colder and the house is down to the 50s it's a deal. But I guess that's the service you get from the big companies and after the warranty has pass.

They were all very courteous. Went out of there way to be neat and tidy, moving furniture and putting down drop clothes. Very patient answering all questions. Brian even fixed a duct we noticed to be loose and unsecured in the guest room. Couldn’t be more happy with the new unit, as my old unit was failing. Thank you!!!

I scheduled HVAC maintenance and they told me the first available appointment date was in one month. I found it strange that it takes this long to get an appointment, but agreed since it was not that urgent. A few days before my scheduled appointment date, they called and asked to move the appointment again. I was fine. Until I was told they wanted to move it back another month!
