Bad service all around. The technician missed a refrigerant leak during a seasonal preventative inspection which caused a auxiliary heat to kick in during colder days, ultimately costing my wife and I an extra $250 in energy bill. When asked for a refund the rep. told me that the leak I experienced would not cause the issue at hand. So I googled, forgive me I’m an illiterate when it comes to heating units but “ Low refrigerant levels in your heat pump during the winter makes it more difficult for the system to adequately heat your interior spaces. ... These issues can cause damage to your system, requiring heat pump repair or even replacement.” I felt completely bamboozled. Long story short the company refused to refund the money because it’s in their contract “no refunds” regardless of how poor their preventative service was. Never again, please be ware. Oh and they send me off with a passive aggressive “Have a nice day!” So much professionalism.

Mccrea install my new A/C and Heating unit in 2019, the A/C unit went out. The technician found that lose wiring in the A/C unit. The wiring was burnt. Mccrea charged me to replace the burnt wiring, I call to explain that the lose wiring was a result of faulty install. The receptionist told me that yearly inspections would find those defects, I told her a Mccrea technician did the yearly inspection in 2020 and he never went outside and to check the A/C unit, so that defect would not have found. Trouble company, they will sell it but don't stand behind their work.

We bought a townhome over the summer and McCrea was recommended by the previous owners for their service plans for our two HVAC systems. Called and scheduled a service appointment 2.5 weeks later, and ran into a nightmare

Our window was 8am-12pm, and by 12pm I hadn't even heard from a tech so I called. The first woman I talked to, told me just to hold on a few more mins, the tech was finishing up. I called back around 1:15pm because I still hadn't heard, and that same woman hung up on me (probably by accident). When I called back immediately, I got on the phone with her manager who informed me the tech wasn't even close to being finished, I had an appointment I had to leave for at 3pm - so after throwing a fit the manager agreed to reschedule me for the following week, at a time that was conveniant to me

flash forward to that "make up appointment", 3pm rolled around and I hadn't heard a word, so again called. Again was told to hold tight, the tech was almost done. 1.5 hrs later still without any word, I call back, and forced the person to ACTUALLY call the tech, and turns out the individual is not even finished and they had no idea when they would show up

Long story short, cancelled the appointment, and really dissapointed that I did not once receive a call that things were pushed back. Really nice people, but awful customer service

With other companies in the area, I'll find another provider I can rely on

For the 2nd year in a row the office personnel failed to order the humidifier canister that I requested for my fall inspection. I've had this system for 8 years and each time I make the appointment I request that the canister be ordered. Last year I spoke with the service manager to discuss this issue and thought it was taken care of. On Monday I left a voicemail for him and here it is 4 days later and he still has not called me. While I give the folks that come to service my unit 5 stars, the office personnel and service manager are lacking.

Can't express how happy I am with the customer service, technical expertise and price. This was by far the best value. My new system is great! Additionally, they fixed a long standing air flow issue. Would definitely recommend them for consideration on your next HVAC needs.

Great installation ...........by Mike & Giannias replaced our old Carrier (over 15 -20 years old unit) with a new 5 speed unit. Thanks also to John Prince for all his help. Again great job folks ...have a safe and fun weekend.

Mr. Henderson did a superb job and what a nice fellow his is.

Besides going right to work, he is also congenial and very through.

He corrected an ongoing problem for me as I was not getting the full benefit of my access to my humidifier.

He also took the time to explain what he was doing, but I assure you he did not waste a moment.

You are most fortunate to have a workman of his caliber and kindness.
