It has been a very frustrating experience to find an HVAC company that is competent in maintaining several residential split air units. I found Ambient after seeking out the services of four others. The technician that comes to my house, Danny, is very knowledgeable and will take the time to explain diagnostic codes, the nuances of each unit, and the relationship each unit has to the others on the same circuit. When any outdoor unit part required replacement, Danny tolerated the zillion questions I had about the process. He understood my need to be educated in how this system works. The manufacture would not answer questions consumers had for the most part.

Our AC unit died unexpectedly and left us sweating to say the least. Called the manufacturer and they said it was under warranty and provided a list of vendors that could service it. We called Ambient Cooling and heating and couldn't be happier with the service. They fit us right in, same day. Bryan the tech that came out was phenomenal. Walked me through the problem, explained every step of the repair and even gave me tips on maintenance I could do to help keep things running smooth. Super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend for any hvac needs you have.

If you can afford to go without heat for over 2 weeks while Ambient diagnosis then abandons your problem because you express a lack of confidence in their ability to diagnose and fix your issue, then this is the company for you! But if you want your problem diagnosed and fixed, find someone else. I have a slew of emails with Bryan with him describing there were multiple issues. We have paid every dime that was billed to us and we have no heat. My better half expressed a lack of confidence after they had been out to "fix" our issues several times, and Bryans response was to say it's time to part ways. We spent over $1000 on our heater and our heat is still not working. We also spent over $5000 in June for a new AC. So we are not disloyal customers, just incredibly frustrated and dismissed.

I have used Ambient Cooling & Heating for a variety of services over the years and have consistently gotten top-notch service. Everyone I've encountered with Ambient has been knowledgeable and pleasant.

Unlike many companies, Ambient is truly a full service HVAC company. THEY CAN AND DO REPAIR. If Ambient says a replacement is needed, customers can treat that assessment like gospel. With their level of expertise, you can trust that if a repair were possible, they'd do it.

I particularly appreciate their genuine efforts to diagnose problems and provide honest insights about possible remedies.

After much research and few estimates I went with Ambient Cooling & Heating and could not be happier. The work and customer service Bryan, Danny and Wayne provided were excellent. I got a new indoor/outdoor units and a new hot water heater. The knowledge the team provided during the install let me know I was in good hands! It’s hard to come by companies that actually care about their customers! If you are in need of service or new units don’t search any further!

We recently hired Ambient Heating and Cooling to install central AC in our house and a ductless split. From the beginning to the end of the project they were great. Estimate was reasonable. The team was very pleasant and easy to work with and we had absolutely no complaints with the work. They definitely exceeded our expectations. Would recommend them to everyone!

OUTSTANDING!!! Quick response when we came back from vacation to a frozen house. They came out ONTIME with a very friendly, professional and knowledgeable crew. They found an issue with the HVAC in the attic and quickly fixed it. They also performed an overall inspection where they found a second issue outside with the heat pump. I bypassed my home warranty because I knew these guys are 5 stars and I didn’t want to be without heat for months. Well worth it!!!

It seems like each July our air goes on the hottest day possible. I have an old system that I will be replacing and when I do, I will use Ambient. Each time I have called them for help Brian responds quickly and is out either the same day or the next day. He diagnosis the problem quickly and has been able to fix it on the spot both times it has gone. He is amazing! His prices are very reasonable as well.
