D&A Heating & Cooling

I have used D & A for my AC maintenance and repairs for the past few years and they have never let me down! I have worked with many of the technicians as well as the owner Chris and have nothing but great things to say about them. They are all courteous, professional and do excellent work. I have to give an extra shout out to JJ. For the past two years he has serviced and fixed some complicated issues I've had with my Space Pac system. Thank you JJ for all your hard work!!

I woke up to no heat on a cold Friday and mentally prepared for needing a new unit since mine is 15 years old. D&A provide same day service in just a few hours and Daniel N fixed my heater issue in a hour. I would use D+A again and plan to recommend them to others in my condo building.

Their techs Shawn, Daniel and Nathan as well the owner had been honest, courteous and great technicians who know their craft.
Their receptionists are friendly and they accommodated me today due to emergency of a heavy water leak because of a clogged drain. Shawn addressed this issue at 7 am today so I can keep my office running. Also, now they have great program that notifies you exactly when they come out and then summary of the work done and detailed charges. Very helpful and transparent. The owner is also very helpful and accessible.

Have used D&A for about a decade for HVAC maintenance, repair, replacement of aging/failed equipment in 75 year old house. Work has been great. Prices great. I trust their advice and appreciate their patience answering my questions. Two weeks ago they installed a new hot water heater. Today they installed a new air purifier in my A/C ducting. I called D&A Heating & Cooling for a second opinion after another HVAC tech told us an entire system needed to be replaced, despite only being 6 years old. D&A was out first thing the next morning. In 20 minutes, they had the heat back up and running. I've worked with them before and they are always on time, professional and do a great job and today they SAVED THE DAY!!! Highly recommend!!!

Chris, Nate and the team are amazing. They do what they say, no BS. Their price is fair. I recommend to everyone I know. I’ve been using them over 10 yrs at 2 homes. I trust them implicitly. After talking to a dozen HVAC companies, I picked D&A to put a central air system in a house in Hyattsville, MD. Chris worked with me on how the system would work and look best with this existing, approximately 75 year old house, told me what to expect from the process, and followed through 100%. His team was expert, friendly, and respectful of the home. The house is cool and comfortable. Any follow up questions were treated with courtesy and urgency, even after payment was complete.

I have also had D&A work on an existing boiler system and was equally impressed with the repair team and work.

I recently starting having problems with my a/c and gas furnace. Both units were older and needed to be replaced. I contacted D&A and they had Justin come out to look at both units and listened to our questions and made some suggestions based on the questions and concerns we had on a Friday. One day later Chris the owner emailed me an estimate with two different replacement units. Both fit into our budget so went choose the middle of the road unit. Chris stated that he would try to get them installed by the following Saturday. He contacted me Monday morning and asked if he could put it in on Thursday (less than a week from estimate). Both units were installed in one day and my wife and I love the system. I would highly recommend D&A Heating & Cooling to family members and friends.

I used D&A Service Company to change my home's old oil burner/radiator system to a new HVAC system with a natural gas furnace and central A/C. My house had limited space for a forced air system. The folks at D&A came up with a clever solution of a split system that I'm very happy with. Throughout the process their rep, Chris, always patiently explained the options, pricing and provided recommendations. I never felt pressured.

I asked D&A out based on recommendations from 3 folks on our community Facebook page. I wanted a routine maintenance check on my heating system (Carrier heat pump). Derek came out at the assigned time, called in advance, was super friendly and courteous and explained what he was doing. Front office also excellent. The fee was $84, but I signed up for a regular maintenance contract (twice a year for $80 per visit). Interestingly enough, Derek found a flashlight in the compressor left by the company that had previously serviced my heat pump. I had made an appointment with them earlier in the week before asking for recommendations. They neglected to show up or call. Quite different with D&A.
