Hughes mechanical came out to look at adding ac to my 1920s house I only wanted it on my second floor. Chad walked me through the pros and cons and let me make my choice I learned a lot from the experience and trust him fully.

Updated Info: Hughes installed a new HVAC system, about 7 months ago, and there are some problems. They got back to me, within about 30 mintues of me messaging them on FB. So far, it looks promising. I ll upgrade this review, if things progress.

I've used Hughes Mechanical on jobs ranging from simple drain clean outs all the way up to a full renovation for their hvac and plumbing. I love the company, their servicemen are always pleasant and considerate.

My review is due to the fact that my ex-property manager hired this HVAC company to address a plumbing problem in my rental property. If Hughes Mechanical had any ethics they would have refused the job as it appears they are HVAC specialists not plumbing specialists. I realize they claim to do plumbing, but it's clearly not their area of expertise.

In any case, they charged me $126 to just look at a leak (not fix anything) and then tried to say the job would cost over $600 to fix. I called a real plumber who pointed out Hughes wanted to replace an entire shower diverter and faucet body, when in fact the only thing that needed replacing was a diverter cartridge which our plumber said is about as basic as plumbing gets. Our plumber made the proper repair for $200.00, not $600.

replaced my entire HVAC system as promised in one day. Highly recommended!!

I used them 3 times, new AC in my house last year, they came on time, did the job and cleaned up 100% after they were done..
The guys where great, no hidden fees and the owner even called me later that night to make sure everything was ok..

PS. A little cheaper than the other estimateside my wife got ! ! !

Unfortunately needed a repair of the water heater which was installed just 6 months ago. Good that it could be fixed quick; bad that a fix so soon after installation was necessary.

Hughes Mechanical is a professional and friendly company, fast response times and very helpful with figuring out the right options for the HVAC system needs.

We had a hot water heater installed the install crew was Chad and Grayson they arrived on time as scheduled and got to work immediately laying down protection on my floors after that they secured all the nessasary electrical and water valves and removed my old unit making sure no residual water was coming out of the old unit spilling anywhere ,after that the new unit went in , the installation was professionally completed and looked great ,once energized they stayed to make sure the water came up to temp would highly recommend this company for any of your plumbing and hvac or electrical needs

This company is very efficient and very responsive.
