    Very knowledgable and reasonably priced. They did not try to hard sell us and gave us the information we needed to make a good decision. Very good quality unit. The installation went smoothly. Workers were polite and professional. Unit works great. My only complaint was poor communication in several instances. They cancelled the first appointment we had to get an estimate. On installation day, they brought the wrong thermostat, were supposed to come back. Had to bug them about that. They didn't come back for a week and when they showed up, had the wrong thermostat. Were supposed to reschedule. Got no call and several days later someone just showed up unannounced to install the correct thermostat.

    Awesome experience with Hughes Mechanical. I have used them for a full system/duct work install and multiple house calls. I own a couple rentals and need prompt affordable service regularly. These guys are my go to. Would definitely recommend for HVAC needs.

    The service we had was to unclog and replace drain lines in the basement. The service agents were on time and performed the service as promised. They worked professionally included me in every step and were able to keep the area in which they worked clean throughout the project. Looks like they will be able to complete the project within the time frame that was estimated. I would gladly recommend Hughes Mechanical to anyone needing this type of service and while I hope that I would not need this type of work again I would feel comfortable calling upon them if and when needed.

    Hughes installed a ductless split unit just under a year ago. Unit stopped working at week 50. Called and they had a tech out to the house when promised. Extremely professional all the way around. They had to order a new PC board and kept us informed about the shipping status. Scheduled the replacement the day they received the part. Could not be happier. Would definitely recommend.

    I used Hughes Mechanical to check my system before turning it on for the first time. Very helpful professional tech who gave me a fair price. Only minor issue was dispatch, who did not provide an accurate estimate of onsite arrival.

    Hughes Mechanical did a great job. Pat check the A/C system because it was not cooling. As he was diagnosing the system he explained what he was doing. Our system is older which took R22. He found that the indoor fan motor was running weak. He contacted his office to order one. The unit is running great, our house is cool. Pat will be back to install a new indoor fan motor before it goes out. Great preventative maintenance. Thank you Hughes Team!

    A new HVAC was installed in April 2022. During the current heat wave my system ran continuously due to not having enough freon to cool the house properly. It took three phone calls before anyone was scheduled to service the HVAC.

    I had to wait 11 days to get a tech out. Then 3+ weeks to get a part in (that did not fix the system) and another week to get another tech out (same one or new one??) to come figure out what the problem is. I was told the tech would be here 3 hours ago. Still waiting. I haven't had AC in 44 days, but guess I am not a priority. I predict it will not be fixed after this visit either. (I rent so have no control over which company is hired. If i had, I would have called a different company weeks ago when told it would be 11 days to get an appt)
