Replaced my old AC and gas furnace. These guys provided good communications, convenient scheduling, and a fair price. They also helped work a BGE rebate in a timely manner. I was very happy with the overall service. I would recommend them and use them again for my future HVAC needs.

Contemporary Air listened to my problem/complaint, focused and analyzed the conditions (which service calls/bills from several other companies over a four year period had not done). CA outperformed in their repair service, replacing a slowly leaking evaporator coil. They followed up after the work was completed, ensuring my complete satisfaction with their services. I woke up on a cold Monday morning to no heat and was referred to Contemporary Air Systems. I called them and they were able to come out quickly to my home in Catonsville, diagnose the problem and fix the furnace immediately. I will now be signing up with them for a service contract to take care of my heating and cooling systems. The technicians were courteous and thorough.

Can't say enough good things about Contemporary Air Systems. Courteous customer service when I called for an appointment, the technicians arrived before the appointment time, did exactly what I asked them to do and didn't charge an arm and a leg. Would recommend them highly to everyone!!

Rick and Jay did a great job installing a new HVAC system for us. Even with the surprises they found (like corrugated metal tubing instead of copper), they got the job done within the original timeframe with minimal price adjustment. It’s been purring for almost two weeks with no problems.

Contemporary Air replaced my (ancient) furnace and central air units. My furnace stopped working abruptly on Christmas morning. I called Contemporary - at noon on Christmas day. The owner called me back - within the hour! Service men came to my home at 7AM on the 26th and on the morning of the 27th the new units were installed and functioning. After the workers left the owner called to ask about their work - and then came to my house to inspect that evening. I could not ask for better service. Professional - and fair.

I had not read the reviews on this company till now prior to hiring them for service.

My experience was that the cord to my central air unit was cut accidently by a weed wacker (don't ask) and I had called at least 10 different air conditioning companies to fix a thermostat cord and replace the fuse.

Contemporary Air Service has given me the best experience in dealing with an air conditioning repair company. First and foremost- their pricing beat BGE home and a couple smaller companies. Everyone was like $200 to $300 dollars. I called this company and they called right back, that's what peaked my attention. The ladies were so pleasant to speak with and they never tried to over do the pricing. If they did not know the cost of a service, they promised to call back with the pricing right away and did so. The customer service agents continued to call and update me on their technicians and they were on time. The job was finished quicker than expected. This company was really great to deal with overall. I would definitely recommend them and have to my co-workers.

Plus they had a coupon incentitive on their site. They are great for this single mother.

Contemporary Air Systems — and Rick specifically — is one in a million. He is quite possibly the last of a dying breed: someone who expends every effort to figure out what the REAL problem is and then tell you openly and honestly what your best options are.

Rick has zero interest in repairing things that don't need to be repaired, unlike the majority of companies I've worked with over the last 20 years. He's thorough, he's honest and he genuinely cares about the work he does.

There is no way I will ever call anyone else again.

Contemporary Air Systems is one of those company's that is hard to find in this day and age. Everyone these days are out for a quick buck and over promise and always under deliver! CAS IS DEFINITELY NOT LIKE THAT! CAS is a small family owned and operated business and they actually care about the work they do!.Rick the owner really knows his stuff and you can see he takes pride in his work, something else that is hard to find these days.He was honest and straight forward. Rick cared about my needs and concerns with the work being done and did an excellent job at a very reasonable price that you just cant get with those large companies out there.I have found my HAVAC company that I can trust and will use for all my needs in the future.
