This is the 2nd repair of our AC (over 2 years) we have needed in the middle of summer during the hottest week. But Rick (owner) came that day and gave us an honest assessment of the problems and possible fixes. Luckily he was right. He ordered the part on the spot and had it ready to install in a day. Michelle (who fields the calls and sometimes works in the field too) does everything she can to keep you informed about their arrival time and any changes in scheduling that might affect it. She provides the kind of customer service that I wish Verizon, Comcast and other big companies would emulate.

Contemporary replace 17 year old furnace and AC. Michelle kept us up to date and somehow put a rush on the job. The last heat wave was terrible. Rick came out and explained the whole process and also was helpful with helping us pick out the right system. Everything was installed and running in half a day. Cleaned up and gone .Professional all the way. Recommend to anyone.

I had no heat and saw the great google reviews so I called and set up an appointment. First of all Michelle is VERY professional so the initial impressions are great. Rick (the owner and technician) came out and took a look at my air blower. I had a 1980 GE system jammed into an 18 inch crawl space - mostly rusted, on life-support - spewing mold into my addition. His prognosis - no way I can get you parts. I cried. He quoted me 2 prices - 1 with air blower and outside heat pump and 1 with just the air blower. Since I didn't have problems with the heat pump, I asked if he could attach old unit into new air blower. He advised against since it was 8 years old, but said that he would do it. Second problem, he had no availability until the end of November. I asked him to work a miracle into his schedule - he came back and said he could do it the next week and would only do the air blower if that is what I preferred. Next problem he came to replace and the old unit was a disaster to remove and far more complicated than he anticipated. He said in 20 year she had never seen anything more difficult. He then said he would need a full second day to install. I asked if this would change the estimate. His exact quote - "no, I made the quote and I stand behind it. " Unbelievable. I have had other HVAC guys out to the house to quote me prices before - all of these guys are SCUM BAGS - far worse than used car salesman. Let me tell you I felt GUILTY in redeeming the $20 coupon on their website - I could not do that with their level of customer care. I IMPLORE YOU to use Rick and Contmeporary Air - no BS, and I promised him I would give him and Michelle a great write up after all they had been through. In all of my years of calling for estimates and not having people call me back and/or giving me a ridiculous quote that was immoral - I can tell you that this is the best company in this state for HVAC issues. I trust Rick and Michelle - they are true professions. I am forever grateful. If you think this is BS - read the other reviews. Thanks again and you WILL get my future business.

Wow! Fast, friendly, knowledgeable, considerate. Day before Thanksgiving and my family woke up to 56 degrees! Was able to get an appointment at a reasonable cost in just a couple of hours. But, Michelle asked a few more questions and walked me through some preliminary diagnostics, saving me time, money, and cold toes! She called me back just when she said she would (2×) to be sure everything was up and running. The next time something goes wrong, and it will, this will be the family I trust to keep my family warm.
