I filled out the "Contact Us" page on their website under the impression of a free quote for HVAC maintenance. Shortly after, he responded via email asking about address and phone number. Prices was not mentioned at all.

Kevin (main guy) and Josh (seemingly an apprentice) came to my house, and just checked the system doing some maintenance and then checked the system outside.

Then Kevin asked for $150 via check. Told them that there was literally 0 communication regarding pricing, and that I was willing to pay, but not sure where they came up with the $150 as that's overpriced (in my opinion and given the other quotes I had gotten). Surprisingly, Kevin was extremely unprofessional about it and the lack of transparency regarding prices for his services.

He started talking about gas prices and bringing his toolbox and expecting to be paid because of that, and tried to gaslight me, despite there being 0 communication about the prices of his services beforehand despite multiple opportunities to be transparent. Additionally, I couldn't find anything about prices online on the website, which is a RED FLAG. There's no way he doesn't have a standard price for residential services and the fact that he doesn't make that public or communicate the prices beforehand AND asks for a check instead of a credit card purchase is suspicious and unprofessional. I legit thought he was just coming in to quote.

He is not the only professional I asked to come over. Any professional I've talked to in the past were professional and transparent about their prices and services. All of them came over, told me what they'd do and how much it would cost, and if any of them gave quotes, they made it clear beforehand that they were coming for a free estimate (if that was the case).

Again, gas prices and bringing his toolbox were his best excuses, but his company is literally less than 1 mile away. Nonetheless, he left (literally they packed up in less than a minute) and didn't charge anything after throwing a short fit, and told me to never call him again (which I guess is mutual, but very unprofessional).

Again, I was even willing to pay, but made it clear that I felt manipulated. Glad at least he didn't take payment at least.

Seemed like Kevin knew what he was doing regarding the maintenance, for what it's worth, but the unprofessionalism and lack of transparency is undoubtedly there.

I initially contacted them given the great reviews. I surely did not have the same experience.

Climate Pro Mechanical (Kevin) and his staff did an absolutely amazing job on replacing my furnace and air conditioning units. Done with good quality equipment. His company goes above and beyond for their customers. The installers were right on time and very professional. If you ever need any HVAC done in your house this is who you need to hire. You won’t regret it.

We called Kevin from Climate Pro in a bind and he promptly came out to give us an estimate for the replacement of our HVAC system. His quote was more than reasonable, and he scheduled our service within the week. His team installed a new air handler (Spacepak) and compressor (OxBox), as well as a new ecobee smart thermostat. His crew was in and out in one day and the system runs beautifully (we're looking forward to lower BG&E bills!). Kevin returned three days later to make sure that our system was running properly and that our settings were correct. I should add that when he came out to survey our system, he fixed a leaky coil that three other companies were not able to diagnose. He is a true expert, and his work was top notch. Highly recommend!

I was tipped off to Kevin and his professional crew from another happy customer. They took the time to talk to us about different options for replacing our central air and heat. Provided different price point options for our house. From signed estimate to completion was under 10 days. Great local business that I highly recommend.

Kevin and all the staff at Climate Pro are honest, responsive, and masters of their craft. They installed a brand new high velocity system (all new ducting) with heat pump/AC in my home. My house was built in 1935, with plaster walls/ceilings and no central ducting. Climate Pro analyzed the house and proposed a very elegant ducting system that left no exposed ducts and had vents located at perfect locations throughout entire house and even the basement too. They worked efficiently, cleanly, and respectfully. I really can’t recommend them enough, I’m beyond happy with the work they did!!

Hands down the best experience with a home repair I've ever had. Kevin was at my house 15 minutes after making my (first ever) appointment with Climate Pro. He had the necessary parts and knowledge to get my AC up and running again in no time at all. I will definitely be using Climate Pro for any future repairs.

Kevin and his crew showed up same day to fix our AC in the middle of summer! - he diagnosed and fixed the issues on the spot, thanks to his great professionalism and all the spare parts needed were available in his truck - Also appreciate all the explanations and counsels given - I would recommend his services without hesitation.

Wanted to move to heat pump system for cooling and heating, and was pleased with the clarity of information provided before I made my decision. Kevin and his crew did a fantastic job with the installation of a Daikin ductless mini split system at my home today. Kevin was one of several contractors that we met with about the project. Kevin had actually taken the time to come to our home on a Sunday to discuss the prospective job and to go over what would be the best system to meet our needs. Kevin also worked with us on the price to keep it within our budget which we greatly appreciated. Kevin and his crew completed the job exactly as promised, and they took great care to make sure everything was installed correctly. We also appreciated how they treated our home while they were here.
