We had Pinnacle install a ductless minisplit heat pump to supplement the the central AC that like most Baltimore rowhomes left us with 5 degree difference per floor. We had tried weather stripping, space heaters, room AC and blown insulation but nothing was satisfactory. The minisplit is quiet, comfortable and efficient.
The ductless requires lines that run to each unit, which can be ugly. Two other contractors asked which room to uglify; Pinnacle suggested and took the extra time to drill the studs and run the lines in the wall and avoid the problem altogether.
