So pleased with the work Charm City Electric did in our home. We had outlets and light switches installed and pendant lights exchanged. Scheduling was convenient and timely. Quote and communication was efficient. Questions were answered promptly. I was kept updated on appointment time. Kyle was top notch - professional, efficient, patient and knowledgeable. His attention to detail on light symmetry was appreciated! Place was spotless after the work was done. Would definitely use services again - highly recommend.

I was having electrical issues in my house causing some lights to be dim and some appliances to not work. I contacted Charm City late in the evening and they were able to get me scheduled for an appointment at noon the next day. When the electrician got here he was very knowledgeable about the situation and pretty much knew what the issue might have been. He came in, diagnosed the issue which ended up being on BGEs side of things, and helped get in contact with who I needed to talk to at BGE to get me the help I need. The electrician was very professional and I would definitely use Charm City Electric for any future issues I run into.

We had our 100 year old house (with knob & tube wiring) completely re-wired by Charm City Electric in 2020. Their cost was way under all the other quotes we received (by as much as 50%). Their work was quite good, and it carries a full warranty for follow-up issues. Joe, the owner, personally comes to the house to work any troubleshooting of issues we have (and on short notice), and his attention to getting the fix done quickly is much appreciated. I like that the company is small with not heavy overhead like other electrical contractors (so the customer pays less for job well done).

I called around to a few places before deciding to go with Charm City Electric. I am quick to YouTube minor fixes around the house, but could not seem to figure out three blown indoor outlets, a slow spinning ceiling fan, and non working exterior lights. Kyle and Eddie were on time, provided a fair estimate for the work and actually finished slightly under the timeframe they estimated. I would recommend their services to family and friends and will be using them in the future for other projects.

Charm City Electric really went above and beyond and did a wonderful job rewiring and swapping out all the old light switches, labeling the fuse box and getting everything updated to code. They were communicative, friendly, fast and reasonably priced which made a potentially stressful situation manageable.

We just moved to Baltimore and have been having lots of issues with the house we just bought. It's an older house and nothing so far has been up to code. The fuse box wasn't even labelled. I called Charm City and they came out quick to assess the situation and scheduled the work promptly.

I was very impressed how they took the time to walk me through options of how to rewire to certain outlets. The light switches looked as old as the house and it took cutting into the walls to do this correctly but they wanted to do as little as damage as possible.

They could have very easily gone the quicker route and cut out more of the wall but they got creative and figured out less evasive fixes. They also could have said they had to charge me more for adding more time to the job but they didn't. There were no surprises with the final bill.

They spent two days here fixing everything and came back for a third day to be here when the inspector came to make sure everything was to code. They took great care of the house and they obviously love their jobs and take pride in their work.

As someone new to the city I really appreciate everything they did. I will definitely be calling Charm City again and recommending them to everyone!

This was my experience:
Contacted this company for an estimate about wiring and for an electrician. Father of the owner comes to my house and tells me he’s an expired worker and hasn’t done this job in years. Long story short, he blew my thermostat board and then his son (the owner) texts me this, I quote, “We are not sending anyone today we did as much as we could to help we shouldn't be responsible for equipment failure call hvac company and have nest thermostat put in.”
With that being said, I of course, had to pay out of my pocket to get real professionals on my property.
They need a better customer support training from my point of view.
So for these reasons, I’ll never recommend or request anything from this company.

I called for an estimate/consultation and made an appointment for a technician to come to our house to assess the work we needed done at 9AM. The day came, no call to confirm they were coming, running late by appointment time so I called the company. The girl on the phone was new she said but was very helpful to reschedule, saying she didn’t realize, but two techs had called out. I get it, stuff happens, so we rescheduled for a week later at the same time, 9AM. No call, no show 4 hours later. I know some jobs can run later than anticipated, but if you have standing appointments, someone should at least call the client to explain why they are running late. I tried calling the company and got no response. I couldn’t even get through to leave a message. Customer service could be better.
