Barstow and Sons did a GREAT job. Their technicians were very knowledgeable and polite. They cleaned the three work sites where you did not even know a major installation had occurred. I was recommended this company by a trusted friend, and I would do the same and highly recommend Barstow & Sons. They should be your first choice for quality work and fair pricing for ductless AC/heating.

Barstow performed outstanding warranty service on our high efficiency gas boiler heating system. The correctly diagnosed the problem, contacted the manufacturer for overnight delivery of the repair part and promptly installed it to fix the problem. All at zero cost as the unit was under warranty. They are efficient, professional and courteous.

Barstow and everyone on their team did a great job. They were great to work with, and kept me updated on the process. The install of a new AC and furnace system was done in a timely, clean and professional manner. I highly recommend them.

The team was fast, friendly, and efficient. They are tidy and respectful of the home. A small leak in one unit led to a follow-up visit the same day as my call, and it was taken care of while I was out of the house. Overall an excellent experience and the mini-splits are working great.

Heat pump crashed after 15 years of good service. Due to pandemic supply shortage and heavy workload the earliest other companies could install a replacement system was 3 to 4 weeks. Given that the weather had just turned warm and was promising to become hot that was not a prospect we welcomed. Barstow understood the situation and found a system at one of the supply houses they use. They put together a crew that was willing to work on Saturday and installed a new heat pump and air handler less than 24 hours after we called them. Their work was prompt, professional, and fairly priced. They cleaned up after themselves and answered all of the questions that we had about the new system.

I would highly recommend Barstow to anyone in the Annapolis area!

We have been customers of Barstow and Sons for years, and we always recommend them to others. They have installed a new heating/AC unit for us and most recently a new power vent hot water heater. The owner is fabulous -- responsive, honest, and delivers what is needed. They don't try to sell extras so you know you are not being taken advantage of. The team members are always professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful. From the first phone call to the end of the service appt, we are always happy with the outstanding services provided. And we love that they are a local business!

Overall just a great experience. Barstow provides our HVAC bi-annual maintenance plan and today the tech noticed two issues with our system that weren't up to code per the new 2018 specs. He was on time, professional, and was able to quickly handle our issues. Thanks again for the great service, and I will continue to recommend to the neighbors looking for top notch service HVAC provider.

Very happy with Barstow & sons. When the contractor came to examine the house and give a bid we felt he really understood what we needed and knew what he was doing. We had 4 other bids and we were most pleased with his understanding. It was also the lowest quote! They were able to get us scheduled quickly and installed a 5 unit ductless system in our funky old house in under two days. They even did the electric which was not straightforward. System looks and works great ! More powerful than I thought and very quiet. Then they filled out our warranty/rebate info with Lennox. Very nice folks in the office. Would 100 percent reccomend.

I wanted to give the biggest shout out to Barstow. Our AC unit stopped working and needed replacement. This was just a few weeks before we were welcoming baby number 2 into the world. The original install date was set for 2 weeks after baby was born, with some hot days on the horizon. They worked with us and found some volunteers for a next day install. We are so very grateful for the team who helped us out. Would highly recommend!

Had them install a unit less than 10 years ago, had to have it serviced twice in that time by Barstow and now they're telling me that I have to replace the unit. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING, THEY ARE SCAMMERS! I won't be using them for our next unit. Way to go guys, by being scummy scammers you lost two customers and hopefully more. *They obviously also pay to have bad reviews taken down, even more signs of being scammers, I will repost if taken down.
