    Our technician, Joe, came for regular maintenance. Little did he know I had big challenges with our system that I hoped he could help with. Joe was patient and knowledgeable. He took his time to really understand the problem and offered a few possible solutions. He recommended we meet with someone within the company that specializes in problems such as ours, which I appreciated. He seemed to really want to help us find the best solution. This is my second experience with Natal’s have have been happy both times.

    Prior to my main complaint, I wasn’t very confident in our technician. They arrived on time, were kind and courteous, but seemed to have no clue what they were here to work on despite having an iPad on hand with our info. As it was my spouse who responded to the original diagnoses a week prior, I also didn’t have the explicit details but said multiple times that it was the panel connected to our furnace. They called for assistance twice but I’m not sure it helped them, and only finally even looked at our furnace after a technician (at our house for a separate issue) walked them to the attic. Afterwards the quote was extremely high and didn’t provide me a lot of confidence given the context of our interactions. 20 minutes after they left, I had already decided I needed a second opinion.

    My main issue is this: the technician entered our gated and fenced side yard to access the breaker box. The gate was closed. The other technician did not go into the side yard and did not access that gate. The technician with this company met our dog as we were finishing up the invoice. I was not notified in any way that the gate was open. When my spouse came home he let the dog out and she was then missing for three hours on a busy street and we didn’t even know for an extended period of time since we had no reason to believe the gate was open.

    Maybe just close gates that are closed when you arrive. That’s all I ask.

    My air conditioning went out so I called Natal’s to see if someone could come by and assess the problem. A gentleman called me back and told me that he would be by in about 1 hour and that there is a $250.00 fee for the assessment. I said no problem. When he arrived he told me that since my building is commercial, he would have to charge me an extra $50.00. I explained that he is incorrect as my building is zoned as a residential building. He then told me that since he has to walk further, I need to pay him more money. I the told him to please leave. I was planning on buying an entirely new system which would cost around 14k. Due to the owner’s greed, I will go with someone else.
