Had air conditioning problems for years, being told I had a flow problem. New systems same results, hot house and high electric bill. Called Aire Serv of Shreveport. They came out looked at my old system gave me an estimate on what it would take to cool my house. We arranged a time to have the new system installed, they came out and installed the system. Their employees are very clean, they respect you and your property and no messes when they were done. Now three years later my house is the coolest it ever was before I found Aire Serv of Shreveport. And my electric bill is literally half what is was!!! I would recommend them to everyone!!! Thanks Aire Serv of Shreveport!!!

I'm a single female and I always feel like I'm being taken advantage of when it comes to repairs, I have an older unit that has been worked on by shady companies who try to stage the job to pressure me into buying a new unit. I used this company for the first time to replace a fan motor on the outside unit, the young man got the unit up and running and never mentioned I need a replacement. Yeah I know I have an older unit, but I called for repairs and when they can't be done anymore I'll look into a new one. Thanks Aire Serv.

This business consists of Kevin and his wife, Shelly. They came out to determine what needed to be done to fix an AC unit. They quoted that it would cost $2100 to replace a compressor (which is currently about 10-20% higher rate than their competitors). Several weeks later, a bill was received for $69 "diagnostic fee" with a bill due date listed as only 1 week after the "service date."
I have never worked with any other company who charged a fee to come out to assess what work needed to be done.
When I called their office to clarify, Shelly was extremely rude and simply stated, "that's how much we charge, it's ONLY $69."
Take your business elsewhere to someone with better customer service and better communication.

Great company and friendly staff. My AC went out at my house and they walked me through some things to check and I was able to replace some fuses and didn't even require a service call. After the service I received I decided to let them take care of my business as well.

Our AC went out around 11pm on a Sat night, we had a friend who does HVAC come diagnose the issue, but he didnt have the part (capacitor), and couldnt get one until store opened Monday.
After calling no less than 8 local "24 Hr HVAC" companies, Poston/AireServ called back and said they could come out, by then it was around 1am.
When its over 80 degrees in your house, with seniors or children, you are willing to pay the price to get someone out.
Reading AireServ's website, I was relieved there wouldn't be any "after-hours" charge. It would be a $89 diagnostic fee, and then you can make a decision on the cost and repairs involved.
On arrival, I informed the tech the capacitor was bad, he verified this with his meter, grabbed one out of the van, and installed. 10 mins later the AC roared back to life, and tech mentioned Freon levels needed top off. I went inside to check vents, and indeed they were finally blowing cold.
When I came outside, the tech had gotten his Freon kit, and I asked how much the bill was so far, he said $302. I said we are going to pass on Freon. He kept walking back towards our AC unit and I repeated myself again. He kneeled down to Freon fill valve and I asked if he was filling it for free, he replied "No".
I told him I had multiple recording devices on my property and had refused this additional "service" twice, and would not consent to it. He finally stopped and put his Freon kit away, made some notes on his tablet, and came inside for payment.
4 stars because when NO-ONE else could come at midnight on Saturday, Poston answered my call. It would of been a 5 star review had the tech not made me point out he was being recorded and I refused additional service. The billing was off as well, The $210 part, is $28 available online at many stores. Sure they have a business to run, but dont hide the service call fee into the part cost. Give it to the customer straight.
I would rather a bill that said $100 after hours fee, than a $210 line item for a part that is less than $30.
I would use them again, but would require upfront pricing before work begins, as their website says should happen.
