My A/C stopped working around 1 a.m. Sunday morning on July 2nd. July IS NOT a good time to not have A/C. Being July 4th weekend, I didn't think anybody would come out on a Sunday, or if they did I thought I'd have to mortgage my house to pay for it. But I called License to Chill around 9 a.m. and left a message. Somebody called me back within 10 min. and said they could have someone here by noon. The tech James showed up on time, was super pleasant, and discovered the problem was just a faulty panel safety switch, which he fixed in just a few min. It was nice to have someone find and fix the issue without trying to sell me a new A/C unit the whole time. I will definitely use, and would recommend them.

Showed up on time and was greeted by TJ in very professional manner. He was one of the brightest young Technician I ever met. I was very impressed of his knowledge and he went right to the problem. He was very thorough and double and triple check every thing before he left. I would highly recommend this company to anybody. He fixed my problem in about an hour or so and the bill was less than I expected. Definitely 5 stars.

The team at Licensed To Chill are second to none. They are the most responsive, professional and skilled a/c service company I have ever worked with. Every step of the process -- from the first call I made requesting service to paying the final invoice -- has been smooth and hassle-free. In addition, their techs arrive when they're scheduled to, which is something you don't always experience with service companies these days. Moving forward, if a friend or family member asks me to refer them to a cop[any that services a/c units, I will reply with one name -- Licensed To Chill.

We replaced our A/C in 2021 with License to Chill. I had used them through work and was previously using another very popular company at home. The other company's quote to replace was 2x License to Chill. License to Chill also discovered fire hazards and poor wiring left by the other company in the attic. The install of the new unit was quick and simple. They did their best to not damage my shrubs too, which was an added perk!

Amy Jo and Larry have been wonderful to work with over this year with our second unit that is giving us problems. They have continued to provide solutions for us to get us through until we are ready to replace (which is what really needs to happen given its age). They're extremely knowledgeable and provide varying options with clear communication that you can understand instead of confusing you with a bunch of HVAC jargon.

Don't be fooled by the fancy promotions, bright trucks, and maintenance plans of the others in our area- All of that flash is there to distract from the subpar work from their unexperienced techs.

I've recommended License to Chill to many friends and family members and will continue to do so. By far, the best A/C company in town.

I have used Climate Control “Licensed to Chill” since the 1980s. They are dependable and do great work. The technicians that work for them are always professional, courteous, and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone needing AC or heating repairs/replacement!

My AC unit stopped working this morning and after doing all the typical "Google Search" items...it was still dead in the water. While it's always hot in Louisiana, it's has been crazy hot recently and this was right at the start of the 4th of July Weekend! I called Licensed to Chill due to their sticker still being on the AC Unit from when I bought my house from the previous owners.

The people at License to Chill are amazing and was able to get their Prairieville Tech "Larry" to come this morning to look at it. The tech Larry was very processional, nice, and efficient. My AC was up and running without any issues.

I'm planning on using these peeps for a yearly check up, because we all know living in Louisiana is a death sentence without having AC.

My roommates and I live up in Baton Rouge for school and over the summer our A/C went out when it was 100 outside! They came in and had everything fixed in no time! Fast work and kind service! Highly recommend!!!

The people and service from “Licensed to Chill” are awful. Keep looking. They will send a service technician, but will not follow up, and then will send you to collections for service they never provided.

Would provide -5 stars if possible.
