Had our HVAC annual service recently. Technician said the system was low on freon. They added a little over 4 pounds for a cost of $1,100. They said this should fix the problem but recommended we purchase a new AC system. They never offered to check for leaks. After the system failed two weeks after this service, I called a new company for a second opinion. They came out, detected the leak and added a new cheaper type of freon and replaced the coils (this technician said a new system was not needed). After calling Goldey's, they said they would not discount the freon cost even though they did not check for a leak as part of the service.(This was like buying $1,100 worth of gas with a hole in the gas tank.) After several calls I asked again for a discount for the freon but was told they do not do business that way. Is the way they do business is to fail to do a comprehensive service then try to sell a new system that is not needed? Sort of sounds like it doesn't it!
P.S. Total cost for their service was over $1,500.
Goldey's just installed a brand new HVAC system for us. Very professional local company. The installers were great guys and everything was taken care of with very quick service. I chose this company in part because of the excellent reviews and we were not disappointed!

I called Goldys at 2 PM. And even though they were booked they worked us in. We have an older system but they came out and assessed the problem and fixed it in about an hour. Professional and friendly and knew what they were doing. They didn’t try to sell us a new system like others have in the past.
They did such a good job. We called at 6:00 PM and they were at our house working on our A/C the next morning at 8:15 AM. The technician missed something, and we called them again that night at 6:00 PM, and they came that same night at 8:00 PM and stayed for an hour to fix it at no charge, because their technician missed it on the initial call. They have earned our business and we will be using them in the future!

A co-worker referred Goldey’s Heating and Air. They were our 3rd estimate to replace our HVAC. Josh was professional and knowledgeable explaining what our needs were and giving us different options. He also has confidence in his product distributor who has been working with for 12 years. Within 1 week of our estimate and our decision to go with Goldey, it was scheduled and then installed in one day. Savings of half the other large company.
