I wish I could give Mike, Brad and Chris ten stars! We discovered water leaking down concrete stairs to our basement. Called Mike, who diagnosed it as a hole in our line to the sewer. Gave us a solution and price the same day....scheduled the fix for the next. It was a big deal. Our pipes were clay..probably installed in the late 1950s. It would have been easy to say we had to break up concrete and dig up our backyard. Mike found an elegant solution that bypassed the old pipes and rerouted our plumbing another way.

Brad and Chris came the next day to do the work and even improved the solution. Worked hard to complete the repair in one day, so we could stay in the house. Cleaned everything. Helped us with our insurance claim. Were respectful of us, our property and our elderly dog.

We HIGHLY recommend them!

Michael was very knowledgeable, took time to explain process, gave visible demonstration of future potential problems, discovered actual age of Unit!. Thorough check on compressor and AC unit and how system works. Options fully explained. Michael added coolant & showed gages of readings before & after. He was wearing ID, clean & neat(wore uniform & boot covers) he facilitated the appointment for plan for options for replacement Unit. Very pleased

Called and they were out the next day! They explained the problem and the problems that might come from it. Answered my questions, even about things unrelated to the issue I called for. Gave me Multiple solutions and honest opinions about what would be easiest, most cost efficient for what we want to do and how things would go. Super nice tech, Nick Kutch, was very knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend becoming part of the Drexler family!

John Kinder was the technician that came to our home. John was also the technician that made the initial visit to our home weeks ago. John was professional each time he performed the needed repairs. John kept me updated with the process so that I could understand what he was doing and why. I would highly recommend Tom Drexler based on the professionalism of their techs alone. The only issue I have with Tom Drexler is that if required they will put a nicely cut hole in your wall and you the customer are required to get it fixed at your own expense.

Andrew Winfield and David Williams located our sewer after a mainline backup on Christmas Day. We elected to replace the full sewer after many failed attempts at restoring flow. The full sewer replacement has not been an easy install for Tony Simpson and Joe Adams due to the way it was ran in 1960, but they're making it happen!
I would recommend this company to my family and friends!

Update: Jeremy Uptain stopped by for a quality check and added extra straw as a courtesy that way our dogs aren't tracking mud inside the house.

Thomas Stiglich was my technician, he talked through everything with me thoroughly, and made sure I understood, what I thought was a draining issue, and assured me I’d be okay. Also, gave me options on how to maintain my sump pump, and prices on replacement. All in all was very helpful, and insightful. Thank you again.

On the Saturday of Memorial weekend our sewer decided to fail. It was horrible to say the least. We called the plumbing service we'd used before and several others who supposedly had emergency service, but no one returned our calls except for Tom Drexler Plumbing. They sent Devan out and he very quickly new what the problem was, however he wanted to be certain and returned with George, a camera technician. Our house is 85 years old. The cast iron and terracotta pipes had all, but disintegrated and were not functional. Our basement has to be jackhammered, all new piping needed to be installed, and it was completely unexpected. To say it was stressful was an understatement. Jeremy and Doug did all of the sewer repair. There was almost no dust from thee work the had to do. They were polite, punctual, respectful of the house and property. They went out of there way to make an unpleasant situation not so bad.
There art e noenough good things I can say. I very highly recommend Tom Drexler Plumbing.

The crew that Tom Drexler sent to install a full replacement for our furnace and air conditioner for us were excellent. They were as unobtrusive as could be possible, performed the work quickly and professionally under the often confusing conditions found in the houses in my neighborhood in Old Louisville. It was all done in under six hours with a crew of four techs. In the five years I've been living here, they have been far superior to any similar service provided by anyone where I've previously lived. Cannot possibly recommend them highly enough.

I am ONLY giving 3 stars because our first technician, Nicholas was so good. I called Tom Drexler and Nicholas came out the same day! He was very professional, nice and thorough. He installed our Kohler kitchen faucet (that we already purchased) and tried to clear a clog. We paid almost $500. He was not able to unclog our pipe, but he scheduled someone to come out the next day. We joined the carefree maintenance plan. Well, the next day we got a text at 8:20am that we were still on the schedule and they would call us when they were on the way. I am very angry and dissapointed, I took the day off work, just to get a call at 1:30 in the afternoon (on my birthday of all days) to say other people's emergencies are more important than ours, that we already had scheduled.... EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING Trying to find anyone to keep their word in business is so far and few between. And unfortunately Tom Drexler is now another company added to that list. We will not recommend them.

Although the clog was eventually cleared after pushing it from the sink to the shower and it backed up. Note the shower is only 3 weeks old, I also had to clean up everything afterwards. Satisfied the clog is gone. Very dissatisfied that I had to do the clean up.
