Terrible. The company should be called "zero response" or no response. Don't return calls. Don't do anything for weeks and months. My AC unit was out in early May. Took them 2 months and 2 visits to finally charge me $2000 for a freon refill. Said the unit was leaking, didn't do anything to fix it. Didn't leave a receipt. Do not use them unless you like being frustrated and wasting your time and money.

I have been two weeks without AC. The first tech showed up. He was nice and diagnosed the problem and said he would order the part and would be in in 3-4 days. I even got a notification it was ordered. A week later I called to inquire and got no response but another tech came to the house, I was not home and he never answered me call. Again I got a notification that the part was ordered. I called the office and got the run around an the said it would be 2 weeks before the part came in. I got another notification the part was ordered. I have called AHS a few times and they said they would get it expedited but here I am with no AC. They are not empathetic that it had been 95 degrees outside.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Had a technician out to my house last week to fill up my Freon. Which was obviously expensive. I do have an old unit that I was planning on saving $$ to replace next year, but I currently cannot afford to have it replaced as I’m a single mom. Well the technician either messed with my unit on purpose to break it (ex..high side service valve being messed with that shouldn’t have been touched, and the top not screwed on all the way that resulted in all of my Freon leaking out.) So either these things were done on purpose, in hopes that I would go through him to replace it and he gets his commission off me. (Because he repeatedly made sure to tell me I should get a new one or I’ll be having to fill up the Freon all the time. And made sure to tell me to call him directly when I do need a new one) Or they had no clue what they were doing. Either way don’t use this company. They will also hang up on you when you tell them you don’t need their service anymore and you try to explain all the problems they caused. So now I have to scramble to figure out how to afford an entire new unit so that my kid and I a/c. Save your money and use anybody else.

I'm so glad I called Fast Response Heating & Cooling to resovle my HVAC issue!!! Even though I live in Lexington, KY they responded sooner then local companies and sent a professional technician to fix my unit. So glad to have AC, highly recommend this company. Wanted to share a picture of their van so you know exactly who to call! Thanks Robert for the professional & excellent service!

Kevin from Fast Response was a pleasure to work with! Used this company through my home warranty and was honestly a little skeptical. Kevin alleviated all fears. He caught an error that was made by our heating/air company that we have come out twice a year for tune ups. Thinking about cancelling them and using Kevin from now on. He came out twice, second time free of charge (and quickly) to ensure our house maintained comfortable and cool with two small kiddos. Highly recommend! Kevin really is an honest and hard-working individual!

This company was the one selected by my home warranty service. Nothing fast about their service. Technician, Zack came out on a Monday and said it was a compacitor and that he fixed it. Unit still blew out hot air. Had to wait til Saturday before someone could come out and check. When second technician came out and looked he said it was compressor. My question is why didn't first guy notice it was the compressor?
I still have no air all because this company does not submit their diagnosis report in a timely manner. So almost 2 weeks with no air and an asthmatic child who can't sleep because it's hot and no one seems to care.

Unprofessional! Not responsive. Not fast! Terrible customer service. It took them 3 days to show up and they were there 5 mins. We need a condenser motor fan out. They told us 10-14 days. Ive called miltiple other local ac companies who all have this part in stock. Every company told me they could have us taken care within a day! They are not willing or capable of going above and beyond.

Nate was our technician. He was polite and thoroughly explained the problem and how to prevent it from happening again. Great service.

Absolutely terrible service and very ironic name “Fast Response”. 38 year old heat pump, 26 year old AC unit. We need a new unit badly but they’ve only put little bandaids on for 2 summers (6 total visits..$100 a pop) since we bought the house because HSA doesn’t want to pay for it and Fast Response doesn’t want to do the work.

Our most recent awful experience with Fast Response…..AC went out on a Tuesday, technician finally came by for 10 minutes on Friday, said we have a leak and left, said he had to get HSA approval to test the leak. Did zero to help us get comfortable. It was 89 degrees in the house. We have children and dogs. The office called the next Monday and said no one could come out until the FOLLOWING Friday and did not have a plan for what the work was to be done on that Friday. I asked for a manager. She was rude to me and said one would call me. They, of course, never did.

Starting calling non-HSA contractors to do an install. 5 companies came the very next morning to give estimates and one was available to do the install within 24 hours. All of them offered to bring portable units to keep us cool and one even topped off our Freon to try and cool us for 24 hours.. which it did. Caring people, well run companies, every one of them.

This was absolute proof that the problem at Fast Response is NOT lack of labor. It’s lack of management and am extremely poorly run company that DOES NOT care about its customers.
