Elder Heating and Air

I would not recommend these people to anyone! The worker come to my house on a Monday and lied to me. He told me he replaced the valve on the heater and that wasn’t the problem that he had to order a gas hose that no place in Louisville had. Then he continued to tell me it cost $800 for this hose. Needless to say my fiancé was here when he finally arrived that following Friday and then continued to tell me it was a valve he had to order. I believe he lied to me because I was a woman and lied to my landlord to take advantage of us . Please read your reviews before you up and just hire anyone!!

Couldn't be more pleased with my experience today!! Heats back on in my house, everybody's comfortable, and the service experience with Steve was very informative today. He answered every question I had. His advice was both friendly and forthright. Looking forward to having them install my humidifier and new thermostat as well. Highly recommended in my book.

I could not be happier with my experience with Elder. The installers arrived exactly when they said they would be there. Before coming into my home they took care to put down tarps where they would bring the equipment in and wore shoe covers to make sure they didn’t track dirt in. The technician took plenty of time (and lots of patience) to make sure I understood how to use the new thermostat! Thank you for outstanding service!!

Great company overall! I called to get a quote for an AC replacement and Doug was here within the hour to discuss my options. His crew was very friendly and left no mess behind. Will definitely use them again for our HVAC needs.

Late one evening recently our furnace stopped working. Elder was quick to send a service technician to our home that night. It was determined the furnace was unsafe. Elder gave us a price and ordered a new furnace. Even though it took more parts and extra time Elder stood by the original price. They installed the new furnace quickly and were very professional. The men were very respectful of our home, cleaning up after themselves.
We talked with the installers about a humidifier and They encouraged us to try the new furnace out for a few days before spending extra money. While we ultimately had them install a new humidifier, we appreciated their recommendations and work. We would definitely recommend Elder Heating and Air for your heating and air needs!!

Fast & quality service to repair my AC unit

This is a great honest company. I had previously gotten an estimate from another company and they gave me an outrageous quote and said my air could not be fixed at that time, until I ordered certain part. So, my son and I went another 2 days without air in 100 degree weather. A friend told me to call Elder, so I did and they came out the same day... Tommy the tech came out and got my air running within minutes. He also educated me on how to properly clean my air condition. He explained step by step what he was doing and why. I will continue to use this company in the future for all my HVAC needs...
