Georgetown Advantage Air

Wonderful. We had already had another company come out 3 times without our HVAC being fixed. We called Advantage and they came out just a few hours later and fixed it. It turned out to be a simple fix the other company must of "missed." Highly recommend.

Earlier in the winter, our heat wasn’t working to full capacity. When it got below freezing, our unit couldn’t keep it over 55. After dealing with a charlatan (another “major” company) who didn’t spend enough time trying to identify the problem, my wife’s coworker suggested that we reach out to Gene and get a second opinion.
I called him up at 10:00 pm and made an appointment for the next day. Gene came and spent a good amount of time checking the inside and outside unit and even the thermostat. Come to find out, the parts the charatan said needed replacing were working perfectly well. Gene identified the problem. Burned out heating strips.
After some discussion, my wife and I decided to replace the unit. The unit installed when the house was built was far too small to efficiently heat and cool a house of our size and we had noticed this even when the unit was working, and in the summer.
Being that it was the coldest day of the year (so far), they came back the next day and installed a set of used heating strips so that we would have heat until the new unit came in.
When the unit came in, a team installed it the next day. They were professional, courteous, and even took the snow shovel out of the garage and shoveled the sidewalk!
They also ran another line from the breaker box to increase the efficiency of the new heat strips.

I am extremely critical of businesses and often lament that it is hard to find true professionals anymore. That being said, I could not give a higher recommendation for Gene and his company, Georgetown Advantage Air.

Great service!! They went above and beyond to check my AC unit the very next day - even though it meant that they would be there late in the evening. The diagnosis was performed quickly, and the changes were made quickly as well. The technician (owner) was very friendly and patient, explaining everything he was doing and answering all questions. A very happy experience for me.

Called this evening at roughly 9:30PM and Gene made a trip over on his way home for the day. Was here until 11:30 fixing my AC units. This was after calling 3 other companies only to be told it would be at least 5 days to even get out here to diagnose. Couldn’t be happier with the attention to customer service and willingness to help on such late notice. Highly recommend!!

My A/C went out on one of the hottest days of the year. I called after 6pm on a Friday night and Gene, the owner was at my house in less than 30 minutes. He had me up and going in no time! Great service and prices. I would give another star if possible for the time he spent petting my dog.

Called 4 different businesses and got 4 different priced quotes. Georgetown Advantage beat everyone hands down. The installation was quick and well done. Made replacing my HVAC easy and affordable.

They came out on Sunday morning when my furnace fan had quit. Owner came out himself to meet the 45 minute time he promised me over the phone. Had the problem fixed within the hours with parts from his warehouse and charged me parts and labor at normal rates without a weekend mark up. Highly recommend this is the second time this year we have gotten high value service when the system unexpectedly broke down.

This is an amazing company!!! We called Gene at 9:30 on a Saturday night when we discovered our AC unit was out. He was on his last call for the night. But said he would come as soon as he was finished. And he did!!! Owner of the company (Gene) comes out at 11pm and got our unit going again! Thanks so much!

Our AC was out on one of the hottest days of the year, and we didn’t realize until 5:30 when we got home from work. Matt and a colleague (can’t remember the name) came out immediately and without question, and were able to very quickly identify and solve our issue. They couldn’t have been nicer or more efficient, and we couldn’t be happier to have a cool house tonight! Would recommend them to absolutely anyone!
