My experience working with Lenny and the Kiefer Heating team was fantastic. Lenny took over my home renovation when another contractor was unable to complete my project due to an illness. Kiefer’s communication throughout the project was wonderful and they were able to make suggestions on how to improve the project. When it came time to complete the work they knocked it out quickly. I will recommend Lenny and the Kiefer team to anyone I come across.

This is a long review but worth telling. Another well known local company tried three times, using two different techs, to fix our furnace. The first tech replaced parts but target failed after a week, the second left it vibrating so badly the whole unit was shaking, the third trip made it some better but said it was done and advised replacement and provided their quote. I had used Kiefer once before to install a new air conditioning unit and decided to call them to get their quote. I called on a Friday and they came out on Saturday. Before they arrived it had quit again, they looked at it and found the previous tech had not fixed anything but had only strapped things down to make the vibration less noticeable. They found the motor mount had broken due to vibration that had been caused by them not putting back an air deflection piece and changing a factory calibrated part to a setting of their choice. I was told both of these things caused the problem and they could likely fix it if they could find a replacement for the missing part and replace the damaged other two pieces. Saturday evening they returned, replaced the broken items and hand made the missing part by altering a part they were able to find that day. They advised I would likely get several more good years from my furnace and charged $300 for parts and labor, that was $200 less than I had already paid the other company. From my call to their office, (BTW- she was just as great and helpful as their tech Len) to them leaving after the repair, it was honest, knowledgeable and valued service. I now understand why the other local service company tech removed the Kiefer Heat and Air sticker (without my knowledge or permission) they had applied from the air installation. Their action speaks louder than my Stars on this review. It is well deserved and I highly recommended them.
PS: I am not going to try to get my money back from the first company, I’ve used them about five times now in the past three years since moving here. I can predict their response from previous calls, and as important as money is, it is not worth my time to hear all the reasons it was not their fault and that they are sorry I’m unhappy.

They got here on time and the technician was outstanding. Would definitely recommend them. I retired from a heating and air conditioning company and Kiefer is way above them in service and price!

I was getting quotes to replace my central air and furnace. The owner himself came out to take a look- I will admit I was a little concerned at first because it was so quick.- no sitting down and talking about options. Then I got the quote. WOW is all I can say. Then it dawned on me, this is a smaller company, no sales people and a lot of overhead to deal with, and honestly just wants your business. I had several quotes with other company's that were double of what they gave me, plus a much better unit ( they deal with Temp Star which is highly rated) so I immediately called them and within 5 days ( mind you it was July 4th weekend ) they came out, put in my new units, did some repairs that were not even in their contract. I was speaking with the technicians about how impressed I was, and they simply stated that is how we do business and how he is( meaning the owner).. The new units are performing well beyond what I thought - I had a Trane prior( please dont ever go there!) And the people are so great ! I wish there were more people in business like this ! They are not out to rip you off and overprice - so refreshing in today's times!

I had our air conditioning go out on a Sunday. I received a call about 30 minutes after leaving a message and Bob was at my place within 20 minutes. He diagnosed the problem quickly and gave a fair price. He fixed it within the hour. Another company I got a quote from told me I needed to replace the whole unit. BS! I will definitely be calling them the next time we need anything!

Gave price for coming out, specified that they'd charge hourly which was okay.. What they didn't tell me is that they charge hourly second they find problem whether you agree to job price or not!
He needed part from office... Continued to charge. Whose to say he didn't take a personal break and taking sweet time while I was waiting? Seemed super shady to me.

Front office is great. Called in the AM and they were able to get a tech to me by the afternoon.
Bob is fantastic. Took the time to listen to my problem and concerns and then proceeded to go through and explain the answer(s) to my question(s). Additionally, he showed me what to look for on my furnace (in the event of a malfunction) and how to handle it.
I will be using Kiefer for the rest of the time I live in NKY.

We called Rechtin and they said we were on the list. Two days later, after no one showed up we called Kiefer Heating. A friendly Kiefer service associate came out same day in a short window of time and fixed the problem in minutes. Don't go anywhere else!!
