Extreme Heating and Air Conditioning and Electrical Service

Had a problem with water in floor when a/c is on. They showed up on time even early. When diagnosing my issue they explained that condensation was gathering in a low spot in my plumbing and that the plumbing was performed using the wrong material. When I asked if he was referring to condensation from a/c or furnace he said this problem would occur when furnace was on. I reminded them the furnace was not the issue and that , being May, the a/c was being used and was leaving water in my floor. They discovered threads in A coil (?) pan drain line was loose and water was leaking down inside of unit and to the floor. They cut about 2 feet of new pvc for new drain. $232. Wow. $75 service charge and $157 worth of pvc . They did tempt me with a service agreement offer for about $360 a year for a couple of service calls a year with first $500 in repairs free. Unit is nearly 30 yrs old so after a coin flip ...tails....I think i will pass.. Very polite guys tho.

I have not had the opportunity to use Air Extreme Heating and Cooling, but they seem to be a reputable company with great ratings. From the interaction of social media, they seem to be extremely charitable toward others.

Im honestly amazed to see a company that is still for the people and give back. Its a rare thing to see anymore to see people genuinely care about how they treat their clients. I wish more company's showed the same class that air- extreme does the world might be a little brighter.

We hired Air Extreme in Ashland KY with the task of doing all new duct work to a home with no central heat or air, and to set a bran new unit. We found out about them while buying furniture at Big Sandy Superstore so we figured they were a reperable group of people that wouldnt half a$$ a job. Our home is roughly around 1,000 sq foot. 2bed 1bath and they charged us 7,500$ for the duct work and a bran new trane unit. This was even after the fall discount because they were slow in work. Jeff one of Terrys best workers showed up every day complaining about my crawl space because i didnt have plastic laid down. And he left early every day too. My husband and i wanted it done as soon as possible so we bought plastic to be laid down under our home. So Jeff would stop complaining and still yet that wasnt satisfying enough. Once he busted the block out of the side of our home to set the unit he threw the debris blocks over our hill toward the creek. I called Terry to complain and all he done was apologize the block were never cleaned up! When the job was finally complete a state inspection was done where I learned i had quiet a few air leaks. So Estill Johnson the inspector had to send Air Extreme back out to seal it all up and do another duct blast test. What should have been 2 weeks tops ended up being 2 months! This new year 2017 I hired a contractor to redo my bathroom and he told me that I paid more than double what anyone else would have charged me. SO PLEASE SAVE YOUR HEART ACHE AND SHOP AROUND DO NOT USE AIR EXTREME. My husband is a pipefitter and had a buddy he worked with use Air extreme as well to just move his unit for an add on he was having done to his house. And they charged him 800$ to move it 15ft and even forgot to put coolant back in it after they moved it and had to come back a week later to do it.

Everyone is so generous and caring. Their work is high quality and very affordable. #1 in the heating and air business. I couldn't have ask for better service.

Stellar service. Came and fixed air-conditioner within less than an hour after calling for service. Even though it was a stormy and rainy day. Technician was very knowledgeable, and courteous. Highly recommend.
