MVP reminded me of this free furnace tuneup as part of being their MVP customer and the scheduling was so easy. The technician, Luis, was so nice and very easy to work with. He walked us through the typical maintenance stuff and gave us guidance on filters that need to be replaced on a regular basis. He discovered couple of potential issues that need to be monitored and addressed in future tune ups. Overall it was a really good experience and strongly recommend going with MVP.

Montell @ MVP performed an Electrical System Inspection at my home today. He was very professional and thorough. His advice on items that need to be updated and safety feature options was very informative. He also went the extra mile and fixed some loose outlets and replaced missing lightbulbs and electrical outlet covers. He was very knowledgeable and made sure I understood my options. It was a wonderful experience and highly recommend MVP for all the services they provide.

To be honest there was nothing that drew me to MVP as a company initially. It was on the recommendation from a friend/co worker after moving to KC earlier in 2022. Let’s be honest, all these companies look the same at first glance. And there are literally 100’s of them…

My wife and I have been working on a recently acquired mid-century house and we bought the house as is…. Meaning with all the charms of a completely non-updated home, including the old school fuse box. STOP! Time to call in the pro’s, this is way over my head.

Enter Kenny from MVP!

This gentleman is fantastic! Not only did we get a text prior to his first visit with a picture and a few lines about him (made my wife far more comfortable), but the first thing he said to my wife was that he appreciated my old Toyota truck in the drive. Let’s just say we were fast friends.
After a tour of the house and what we were hoping to accomplish Kenny set to work detailing out what it would take. Not too long after he left, we received a series of reasonable estimates that gave us multiple ways to accomplish what we wanted based on different budget needs. This made the decision making simple, and pain free. We went all in with MVP (complete rework of our entire electrical system) and I would say they reciprocated. They went all in to serve us.

Once we approved the work, MVP got to setting up all the details necessary to completely overhaul/upgrade the outside meter (scheduling Evergy… I did not even know that needed to be done), breaker panel, and every outlet in the house.
The big day arrived, and Kenny (along with his team) came ready to rock and roll, the care he has for people and his ability to put you at ease is uncommon for tradesmen in my experience. Bright, energetic, and passionate about his trade. He is a craftsman. NO QUESTION. His attention to detail has got all my respect. I like doing things myself because there is a certain level of care and attention that I hold myself too. I had zero stress that Kenny was going to do top notice work, and in the end, it was indeed TOP NOTCH!

We have called on MVP several times over the past few years, each a positive experience that resolved our issues. These folks are the most professional, prompt, courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable crew I've had the pleasure of doing business with for both HVAC and electrical needs.

Our experience started with an emergency A/C repair in the hottest part of summer. I was out of town for work and the first few companies my wife called (before we knew about how awesome MVP is) were booked and soonest available to get to the house would have been late the next day. MVP got there within an hour to patch the problem, within a week we decided to replace the whole HVAC system through MVP as well.

Since then we have moved homes and experienced AC issues with the inherited system here. MVP patched the problem and we decided on a two system replacement (AC and furnaces) for our current home. Westin, Josh, Jordan, and Jacob did the full removal and installation of the new system before taking the time to (very patiently) walk me through the new wifi thermostat.

We also have a service plan through MVP that covers routine inspection and maintenance of critical systems including our HVAC and electrical. I've just had my first electrical inspection with Kody and we addressed some potential problem areas. After walking me through the inspection notes, he was able to fix a number of problems immediately. He got some exterior outlet covers up to code, installed a carbon monoxide/smoke detector near the furnace, replaced a hazardous fuse, and we elected to have a surge protector installed at the fuse box. Kody is a wealth of knowledge, highly qualified, and genuinely a a pleasant person to have in your home.

MVP has always presented options for review before doing work. They don't just show up to sell you new equipment, they have honest estimates on what exactly is needed and when. If it can be repaired, they don't push unnecessary replacement. I find the honesty refreshing and it has really built up a lot of trust that we have with this company.

My final praise is for their transparency and excellent communication. Every time we have a technician come to our home, we get a call well in advance and a text showing you the face of who is coming with a brief bio. Before they arrive, you have a clear understanding of what will be done and how long it will take (although with us every job has been completed early!). They ask pertinent questions, explain what they are doing and why, and leave you feeling comfortable knowing they've got it all covered.

I would highly recommend them and will continue to rely on them for our maintenance and repair needs going forward.

Kody and Michael did a great job updating and adding some wiring in my basement and adding 2 gfci outlets. I’ve had good experiences with MVP before and it was no different this time!

I have had MVP out to my home several times this year for different services- every single team member I have encountered has been highly professional, courteous and knowledgeable. This consistency sets MVP apart from other companies I have worked with in the past. They have a clear commitment to customer service. I am particularly appreciative of Tyler Bejmovicz and the team who came out this weekend to remove the house trap from our basement and get the sewer line working again. It was a more technically challenging job than anticipated and they were highly committed to getting our home back in working order. After a long day of work Saturday, Tyler returned on Sunday morning to finish replacing the cement in the basement floor. It is not lost on me that this on-call weekend work takes staff away from their families- I greatly appreciated his flexibility and integrity in getting this complicated job done!
