    We have used Hanna Heating & Air for over 6 years and have been very happy. We have the yearly service plan. They are very responsive when we need service outside of the twice-year cleaning.

    After 14 years with Denny's, now Hanna hvac, I have suffered with a painful, unnecessary, sad decline in management and newer employees. This severe decline in service and rise in charges isn't the only problems. They hate coming to Newton and charge excessively for the drive. All this after having bought the good company that we had locally. The unprofessional and overtly rude attitudes were what finally drove me off. A younger service person literally lied about me. Simply because, during COVID, I required a mask. And to spray his shoe bottoms. He never used the in home work boot booties. My wife is severely disabled with a suppressed immune system. This is not a good company to go with at all.

    I highly recommend Hanna Heating & Air Conditioning for your heating and cooling needs. The service and installation workers are some of the best I've ever come across. They are very knowledgeable, efficient and highly skilled. They removed our old a/c & furnace and installed a new RUUD Achiever air conditioner & furnace system in 2 hours. They respected our property and left no trace they were here after finishing the work. This is the 2nd A/C & heating system that Hanna Heating & Cooling has installed in our house since it was built 30 years ago. Nothing but the best to say for this business and their staff.

    Scheduled an appointment and no one called to say what time they would be there. So I called to follow up and got nothing but attitude from the lady on the phone. Said they called me 6 times. I have no missed calls, or voice mails. Then said it would be another week after I was scheduled the next day. Ridiculous. Lady was SO RUDE! I would find someone else. They apparently are SUPER busy. And if you live in Towanda it's "way out there" so don't bother.

    I was visiting my sister in Derby Kansas June 5th when her air conditioning stopped blowing cool air. She called the Hanna at about 8PM and left a message with their call center. Johnny Combs returned the call Saturday morning and assured my sister he would squeeze her in that day...a short time later he called back and said he would be there shortly. When he arrived we were greeted with a BIG and enthusiastic SMILE. You could immediately tell he likes his work and takes pride in his job. His communication was professional and ...still smiling!!! He quickly found the freon leak and provided a temporary repair and advised he would set up a appointment on Monday to return and repair the leak. He called back early Monday just like he promised and set up a time for the repair. We will definitely call Hanna if we ever need help with our heating or air conditioning and will recommend them to any of our friends or neighbors needing help!!! Johnny is amazing...Fantastic customer service!!!

    My HVAC system stopped working on Monday. The next 4 days were forecasted to be around 100 deg each day. I called Monday afternoon to get the next available appointment - Wednesday afternoon. They were the first to answer. I scheduled the appointment and asked if I could cancel if I got an earlier appointment elsewhere (I didn't). They said "of course" please call as soon as possible so they could service someone else. Here is how it went:
    1. The initial phone call was answered by a very polite young lady who took the time to discuss the issue and offer suggestions.
    2. I was called the next day (Tuesday - nearly 24 hours early) to ask if they could send a tech due to an opening.
    3. Service tech (Wayne) arrived a full day prior to my appointment. Pleasant and professional. He asked what was happening and went directly towards, and identified, the issue without hesitation. He was happy to answer any questions I had. We chatted and, never once did he stop working while engaging in very polite conversation.

    I would not only recommend this company, but would ask to have Wayne be my technician. The repair was done quickly and the price was reasonable. My HVAC is working perfectly now.

    I am posting another update. We had to spend another $1800, for another coil this summer. This one as well as the last one would have been covered by the warranty had Hanna handled things the way they should have.

    I am updating my review from a year ago. We continue to have problems with the poorly installed systems that Hannah put in. And I am also finally responding to Hannah's response to my review (because we are having problems again and it brings it all up). I did call them, as they repeatedly asked me to do in their response. They were untruthful and very rude in our short conversation and offered no resolution.
    As my original review says, I do not recommend Hannah at all. I hate to speak so negatively of a local business but as I said before, in this case it is warranted and I hope to save others from similar problems.

    First of all I want to say I rarely post reviews. This case however, warranted a review as I hope to save others from our awful, costly experience. This specific Hanna location installed two brand new Ruud ac units in our home 4 years ago. We were promised lower utility bills. Our bills have consistently been higher since installation of the units, and a lot higher. Additionally, we have had to have many service calls, most of which have not solved our problems. One example, at one point the thermostat basically quit working and they wanted $275 to replace it. Instead, I got the exact same unit on Amazon for $125 and all I had to do was open the box and plug it in. The "last straw" and the reason we are finally posting a review is that recently, after multiple trips out to repair one of the units, Hanna insulted us by coming back out and standing in the entry and telling me we needed a new coil. The technician said the part was covered under warranty but the installation was $600. He said he knew this was the problem because "it is the only thing it could be", I am not kidding at all, that is exactly what he said! He never left my entry, never looked at the unit, never checked ONE THING and suggested a $600 repair, and again, that was only for labor. We called Hanna after he left and the lady that answered said part of the cost was filing a lot of paperwork for the warranty and that maybe we should try a Trane, I guess suggesting that we buy more new units from them after only 4 years. Anyway, the place is a complete joke. We had another company out that afternoon, they added freon and the unit has been working fine since. I would stay away from this place for both service and new installations.

    We have used Hanna for years and have always been very pleased with the service. The technicians have always been very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and honest! We have never had any after hour issues with our HVAC system until recently (July 2015). I came in from doing yard work on a very hot (heat indices over 100 degrees) SUNDAY evening to find my AC was not cooling the house. I called the after hours number for Hanna and found the person on the other end very friendly and caring as well. Within 15 minutes the "on call" technician called me back. I described the problem and he said he would be out within the hour. True to his word, he was on time, and best of all he had the part to fix the problem and I had a cool house. The technician had been out all day with other emergency calls and I could tell by looking at him that he was tired; however, he was so friendly, caring and professional. He thanked ME for being nice! I have always trusted Hanna for our HVAC needs, but in an emergent situation is where the rubber meets the road and this company and technician went above and beyond! I would recommend them to anyone!

They are just one of those subcontractors that we do not have to worry about because they get the job done on time and in budget. They also take the time to work with our clients and answer their questions as needed.

    I could go on about how great the entire Hanna team is but the simple truth is that we can trust them to work on our homes, and that alone should speak volumes.

    Cesar and John just completed the installation of two new AC units and a furnace in my home. They were courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. They did an excellent job and I couldn't be more pleased. Jason, who bid my job, was also wonderful and a wealth of good information. I would highly recommend Hanna Heating and Cooling for any HVAC need.
