R Prescott and Sons Plumbing and Heating

Faucet was installed upstairs. I assumed correctly. Left for three plus hours and came back to the connection leaking throughout the finished basement. Drywall sagging, carpet soaked and actively pouring water from the ceiling. I shut off the water supply. Called at least 15 times starting at 325pm. Left several messages. As of writing this at 745 am the next day, I have yet to receive a call back. Supposedly open till 5pm daily.

We had a plumbing leak from a pinhole leak and they were able to offer same day service for us. This is not the first time it has happened and they always fit us in either same day or next day and do quality work in a reasonable amount of time!!!

Had them replace water heater I bought from local store. Installer was very nice and professional. Only complaint is thought I’d have my son and I help to get job done quicker and move old water heater up from basement to back of van and clean up, set new one in, etc. Still charged full installation price.

They sent two of their men out to install a whole new air conditioning system. They did the big part of the job and said their boss would be out to finish the job. Well, instead they sent another company out and that man didn't know how to do his job. He had to sit in his car and read a book in order to figure out how to finish the job. Needless-to-say we had ac for 1 day and then it quit. But, Prescott and Sons came out as soon as we called and fixed the problem. It has been fine since.

After reading these reviews I was a little apprehensive about these guys coming out to fix our water pressure issues, but we we're pleasantly surprised! The man who came out took his time and explained everything to us making sure we understand what needed to be done and what our insurance would cover. They took care of everything and got us back up and running again. Everyone we dealt with there was courteous, professional and polite. Thanks guys for all your help! We'll for sure be using them again!

They installed my reverse osmosis filtration system and my family and I love it. The office staff was courteous and professional the installation tech brought up some information that was very helpful and outside of his job. Thanks Prescott and Son Plumming

Hired them to sweat weld a tub faucet. The fau etc still leaks to this day. Have been here three times and no one attempted to even fix it. Paid for the service already. One time a plumber that tore my gas pipes up in my basement that use to work for Morningside plumbing showed up working for them. I asked them to have hi. Leave and not return. Prescott himself stuck up for this creepy plumber who was cussing, hitting things in my home, tore my hot water heater up made me pay for a new one. Warning

DO NOT recommend using these guys for a plumbing inspection on a new house! After moving into our new house, I went to turn off the main water valve to work on a bathroom project. I was unable to get the water to turn off so I called a plumber to come check it out. When they arrived they said that the inside of the valve for the turn off was on the floor next to it and that is why it wouldn't turn off and that an inspector should have caught this in the inspection. When I called R. Prescott & son and voiced my concern, the lady just blamed me and said I could of tampered with it. Really? Very unprofessional and very poor service. So now I am out the inspection cost AND the cost of a plumber to come fix something that should of been caught in an inspection!!

Finally had the owner come out and look at what I needed done. Said he would call me with a quote. It’s been several weeks and still nothing. Tried calling and he’s always busy to give me a simple quote.

By the recommendation of the previous homeowner, I have been using this plumbing and heating contractor for nearly 10 years and I've always been pleased with their service. Not cheap, but they fix it right. Friendly service!
