JP Plumbing & Heating

I'm usually not one to write reviews, however our A/C system was having all sorts of troubles ranging from a short in our thermostat to a bad expansion valve over the course of a few weeks.

Dylan from JP was able to come out right away each time to figure out what the actual issue was and was able to get everything fixed up just in time for the awful heat wave. He was very professional each visit and easy to talk to, and let us know how things should be running and even how to troubleshoot a few things that we can do ourselves.

Everything was through our home warranty program, however I did call their office once to see if they could come back out and they were very polite and accommodating. Overall a very good experience!

We have a homeowners warranty on our house and we've used them before for AC repair issues, but this was the first time we had JP assigned to us, and they were great to work with! We found water in our basement that stemmed from our internal central AC stack. It had been leaking so much that the carpet 10 feet away was soaked. Troy from JP came out to assess what we thought was the issue, finding that a repair made by another AC repair company last year was contributing to the problem. A week later, when leaking reoccurred, we called to see if he'd come back out to reassess. They were quick to respond and get us on the schedule and we didn't incur another charge for a revisit. A deeper investigation revealed a whole host of problems with our unit - a rusted drip pan, an A coil that needed replacing, our condensation line needed replacing, and our external unit (30+ years old) was condemned (much needed and overdue). All in all, they've been communicative and helpful, and we're finally getting our ancient unit replaced.

This comapny was to our home scheduled through our home warranty service. They were not equipped to take of the problem which was a stoppage. They changed the call to leak repair and told us they would get someone else to handle. Never heard from them again.

10/10!! Our sink needed a clean out and we needed help before our kitchen became a dirty dish stockpile. I called them at 9am thinking I’d need to set up an appointment a few days out, but I was ecstatic that they were able to show up at noon the same day! Josh was very friendly and extremely knowledgable. He figured out the problem right away and was above and beyond in his service! I would highly recommend JP and will definitely call them again for any further issues!!

I forgot to add in my initial post that the woman taking the calls and setting up appointments was great!! She was incredibly friendly and helpful which is honestly one of the most important steps in the whole process of service calls, as it sets a great tone when I’m already stressed about my situation. She bumps my score up to 11/10 haha.

Had new water heater installed. No after hours service. Had shut down for winter vacation but couldn't get relit.

Having to hurry up and clean out and sell the house this spring was not what I was expecting to have to do. But there we were running around arranging showings and trying to keep everything clean when the weather hit and we come home after a showing and our basement pump alarm going off! We've had Zoeller pumps now for five or six years and tried to make them work, but the pump arms tend to freeze up and it's too much of a recurring nightmare with the wet carpet, etc. I don't know why we didn't bite the bullet and just replace the darn thing. It wasn't a cheap system to put in! Zoeller is *top of the line* right?? Well I say all this to say that of all the places I called, with showings pending the next day, JP came to my rescue. She quoted me a reasonable price for the sump pump replacement right over the phone. They tried to get back to me right away but I was running around and missed the call. Finally I got John and he went to work and before I could turn around, he had the whole system reworked. He even found a leak in the pipe going into the wall. Now this was horrifying, mind you we had a showing THAT DAY, and here we were having to cut a hole in the wall, no way to hide that!! Long story short, that buyer didn't make an offer, but there I was with an entire room to paint and wall to repair and more showings the next day. No pressure!! So I went to put the wall back together and realized I was missing a couple of small pieces. They must be in John's bucket! Oh snap!! Wonder if I can get a hold of him while running to Menards for more paint?? So here I am trying to get a hold of a service guy after hours, using the info off of caller ID, texting him, etc. Good luck with that!!! Well HE ANSWERED. He said he still had the pieces, texted me a pic of them, and offered to bring them by the next morning. Phew!!! So we got busy painting and touching everything up so that I could put this wall together (six pieces, okay! He didn't want to start off with a huge hole, but that's a lot of moving parts🙄) Finally I had it all in with construction adhesive skimmed all over it as best I could and a fan on it. John had tested our backup system and verified that everything was working properly so I put the battery back on the cover and sent a picture to the realtor. Will this do?? Thank heaven it did. We got not just one offer but two that day!! And the new Liberty pump is so nice and quiet!!! I waited to post this review just to make sure the charges were reasonable and no issues there. We should have done this before now, thank goodness I have somebody to call if there are any plumbing issues with our new house, because this house was SOLD!!! Thank you JP!!! And huge kudos to John!!!!

Awesome company. Great employees. Courteous and knowledgeable. Our water heater was leaking. I call J&P. They were able to come out the same day and replace our water heater and take the old one away...

Have used this company on a few occasions. Few for cooling issues and another for plumbing. I’ve always been satisfied with the workers and the work they have done for me. Always been good at fitting into schedule where could on the severity of the issue. Strongly recommend JP for all services they provide.

I've had two experiences with JP so far and they've both been great. The staff is polite, personable, and deliver exceptional service. I would recommend them many times over! Three hours ago I called them sweating. They sent someone out. He worked quickly and efficiently and now my previously useless AC is pumpin' out cool air. Thank you much!
