We are very pleased with Kelly air conditioning We had Air Conditioning installed in our home 2weeks ago Great Job very professional Great guys Then we made a appt. with them to recheck our new unit to make sure it was cooling its best same day service. They made sure it was fully charged and checked it before they left. PERFECT I highly recommend kelly Way To go.
Mike took care of everything! He completed work another heating and air conditioning company we hired was inept in performing. Laura and I are extremely satisfied with Kelly Heating & Air Conditioning. Thank you!
We had fast professional service on a new furnace and central air unit. We had a quick response from Mark who came out and looked things over and priced out a new unit when ours failed in 90 degree heat. . Our installation was done in a very prompt and organized manner. Our installer Tristan took his time with the details, like how the wires were run nicely and neatly. Explained things clearly. The area was left clean after removal of the old furnace and air conditioning unit. The office supplied all the paperwork on our rebate and completely filled it out for us. We just had to sign it and mail it. They handled every detail from the beginning to the end. I am not sure what more a customer could ask for. You talk about a No Hassle experience. You exceeded our expectations by far. Thank you so very much. Steve & Dana Sharer
Our boiler went out days before the -50° temps. They had a technician out to our house within 2 hours of calling them! Had our new boiler in within a few days. From start to finish they were fast, courteous and very helpful! During this stressful situation they made the whole process smooth and easy! I highly recommend them!!!
I have used this company many times for rental properties. Calls returned, kept me up to date on what was going on. Never a surprise. I worked with two other HVAC companies previously with mixed results. Kelly Heating has consistently been good.
We have multiple AC units in our home, which was built in two stages. One of them, installed circa 1990, and maintained well for our 6 years, finally failed in June 2021. We called Kelly, and they sent out a very professional technician, Mike, who evaluated the problem, checked the other units, and took pictures of the technical specifications of the unit that had failed, for his boss, Mark Kelly, to come out and do a bid. We were very happy with Mike.
After several days, Mr. Kelly still had not called to set up an appointment to come out and spec the job. I called the office again, and was able to speak with him. I advised him that Mike had been to our home, and described the system that had failed (the larger of two, serving the majority of our home). I even told him which device it was in the basement and outside, as I would not be present when he came to the house due to an out-of-town medical appointment. I advised him that my college-age son would be present for his visit.
Mr. Kelly came out on the appointed day, and my son escorted him to the basement and pointed out the larger system, ten took him outside and showed him the larger unit outside. Again, several days passed, and I had not heard back from Mr. Kelly. I called him directly on his cell phone (from which he had previously called me). Mr. Kelly seemed confused and could not recall that we had ever spoken before. This in and of itself is not surprising, given that it's summer, and he's probably very busy, but eventually he remembered. He said he would get me a quote later that day.
The quote came in, with two options, with different SEER ratings. Not being an HVAC technician, I looked up what a SEER was. But both options were for the same sized unit, a 2.5-ton unit. I had no reason to suspect that this was inappropriate, as (1) Mr. Kelly was a professional, and (2) had been pointed to the correct units by my son, and (3) his own technician, Mike, had taken pictures of the information plate on both units, and (4) I had verbally told him twice that the unit in question was the larger of the two. I accepted the better SEER rated unit, and sent the company a check for a 50% deposit by priority mail.
On the installation day, I had another out-of-town medical appointment. My college-age daughter was present, and called me during my appointment to say that the technician was there and could not perform the work, because the equipment he had was for a smaller unit, not the larger one. I immediately called Mr. Kelly's cell phone. Again, he sounded very confused. Once he remembered who we were, he blamed the mistake on my son, saying that my son had pointed out the wrong unit to him. It took another day to get an estimate for the correctly-sized unit (5-ton). My wife and I decided at this point that we should proceed with a different contractor, as Mr. Kelly seemed not to know his business. I called Mr. Kelly and asked for a refund of our deposit, less the cost of Mike's service call. I did not mention Mr. Kelly's confusion or inability to correctly identify the larger of two systems to serve the majority of the house. Mr. Kelly said that they would send the refund. When it arrived, I discovered that Mr. Kelly chose to blame the problem on my son, and my "accusation" of a "bait-and-switch" as the reason for deducting the cost of a city permit as well as the cost of Mike's service call.
Mr. Kelly, who was confused about our system on multiple occasions, was supposedly the professional, and even if my son pointed out the wrong unit (he didn't), he should have recognized that the smaller unit would not cool the majority of our home. He also didn't bother to coordinate with Mike, who took pictures of the information plates for the correct units. Mr. Kelly ordered the wrong unit, and made me pay for a permit for an installation that did not happen. Then he blamed my son for his mistake. Go to someone else if you need equipment replaced.
Servicemen were polite. Always wore a mask in the living quarters of my home. Installation appeared professional and technically correct. Final inspection by city was a cake walk. Would recommend them. Ray Peck
