The rep. was very familiar with HVAC equipment very polite unfortunately there is a glitch or issue with the software that looks up replacement parts. The induction fan assembly for my 1987 series 100 Carrier HVAC unit was no ware near a replacement. Neither of the mounting brackets would work, the 3 rubber isolation washers were to large and the old ones are rotten. So I used some sink washers to bolster them. I have the unit working now it seems to be quietly working . I hope it holds up. Some day I will replace the inside unit but It won't be a Carrier. As I said these are good people however I do recommend If you can to find a local distributor and take the defective part in to compare .My new inner mounting plate's round bulge meant to fit into the round hole of the duct of the furnace was a 1/4 inch to large making it impossible to use. I Have 43 years in the commercial trades, Electrical and equipment for the post office and have many tools . It took an extra 6 hrs. of work to do this .
