A + Plumbing Heating & Cooling

Updated 2/3/21: We used A+ again, but this time for a new furnace. The repair for our old furnace was going to be so expensive and we knew it was time to replace. Rod gave us a no-pressure quote and was easy to work with. Javier and Sam did the install and were kind and considerate and worked quickly to get our house warm again! While under new ownership since my last review, I still highly recommend this company for heating and cooking needs.

This will be the first summer in the 6 years that we have lived in our house that we will not dread going upstairs!
Thanks to Daniel for taking the time to look and measure our whole house and all of our windows, rather than going by our square footage on determining our needs! Who would have ever guessed that a smaller unit was the answer to cooling our upstairs!
Thanks to Troy and Doug for working in the 95 degree heat and in the down pouring rain to get our new air conditioner installed and running!

True to their word! Honest people with integrity, something that is hard to find these days.

First time I used their service is when my home well pump burnt out on a Friday evening. Miguel Hernandez, the owner, was the only person to answer the "emergency phone line" when I called multiple plumbing services that evening. He arrived first thing Saturday morning and got us up and running for the weekend, saying he'd come back Monday morning to finish so we would not be charged the weekend rate for the entire job. Monday morning he promptly showed up and finished the job, saving me a considerable amount of money.

Because of the awesome service I received, I decided to let them service our home HVAC and signed up with their yearly agreement. When fall came and temps cooled off, Carlos Garcia showed up on time and was very thorough with the furnace service.

Recently we had them replace the electrical panel of our home, a job they did at a very reasonable cost. Jose Garcia showed up on time and did an excellent job. I couldn't be happier!

So in all, I've had excellent plumbing, HVAC and electrical service from them and feel much safer knowing they are looking out for my well being at my home!

I have to give a shout out to Cindy in their office who has been so good at working with my job schedule when setting up service appointments. I also love that they will send me an email and a text message when they are on their way to my house, so there's no wondering "when they will show", and the name of the technician who will be servicing.

I highly recommend calling them and using their services. They are not out to price gouge you. They simply provide honest service at a reasonable cost, and they put you first. They have your back!

I called these guys first thing in the morning to come out and fix a gas leak on the main line in the basement. At the end of the day, I had to have it fixed, but wow did they make sure I paid!

-They charged me an extra $70 as an emergency fee so a total of $159 to show up unprepared to fix the issue. They didn't have the right part!
-They would only fix the issue that evening evening if I payed them another $150 to be prepared and get the part. I refused so the came the next morning to finish the job.
-They charge an hour minimum to do a 30 min job
-At the same time as the hour minimum, they billed me for diagnostics at $204/hour ($51 for 15 min).
-So the total was $159 just to show up. $354 per hour to do diagnose and do the work. And the work was not completed until the next morning.

The local Mercedes dealer doesn't even charge that much to work on your car.

Does this sound like a company you want to do business with? If so, good luck. Just make sure you calculate how much you have to pay because it will be a lot!

Jose and Carlos came out to do the replacement of our AC unit today. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They worked cleanly and explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. I have had a rough go with my home warranty company replacing the unit, and A+ did a great job following up with me and made it easy to work through the home warranty company. After my warranty expires, I will be using A+ for everything moving forward. Thank you for taking care of me and my family!

Absolutely repaired my sudden malfunctioning shower. They gave me options along with pricing -completed the work several hours ahead of schedule and were friendly! I will use them again for sure.

We called this company to repair our toilet as the flange needed to be replaced and had to be cut off by a plumber. They came out after quoting 3-4 hours of work, took about 5 minutes look at it and told us it would be longer and cost more because the subfloor needed to be replaced and they couldn't do it at the time without materials but still charged us the service fee and told us to call back the next day once we had the materials for the subfloor. The next day, we called them back after picking up the subflooring, they came back out, looked for about five minutes and AGAIN told us that it would be additional time and money, this time more than doubling the price. They told us that they would "send us a quote" so we could make a decision but never did and did not respond when we called for an update.

I had water backing up into my shower early on a sunday morning. After calling several other companies who wouldn't come out on a Sunday, A+ sent Joe to my house. He was awesome! Not only did he fix my problem, he also fixed a broken pipe in my basement. He really went the extra mile for us! Great service at a very fair price! They have absolutely earned my business in the future!

Our entire plumbing system shut down in the early hours of the morning and A+ was able to get over and fix the issue in just a few hours. Our plumber Sean was fantastic, extremely professional and talented. Would highly recommend and will be using them again in the future for any plumbing needs!

David and Shawn did a great job!! David was super helpful in helping diagnose the issue and Shawn did an excellent job removing the trim work to get to the leak. I would highly recommend their services! I will definitely use them again in the future, if a plumber is needed. Thank you again guys!!

We had an excellent experience with A+Plumbing. Made the appointment for the next day and the service technician arrived right on time. He replaced our bathroom sink drain in a short time. The service was done in a very friendly and professional way that made us a very happy customer. In the future, A+Plumbing is our choice for plumbing problems.
