Roy runs such a professional, thorough, and dependable business. Most importantly he is HONEST and cares about truly diagnosing and fixing the issues with your furnace - rather than trying to sell you a new system, like so many of his competitors. Our furnace went out a few weeks ago in the middle of the night. We have two children, a 2 yr old and a new born, so being without heat was not an option. We have a service plan with another hvac company in the area, so we called them first. After a full day of them in and out of our house, our heat was not back on, and their only solution was to have a sales guy come out to sell me a new system. Luckily my neighbor has had Roy do work for him and called him to come look out our furnace. He was at our house within 30 mins and had our heat back on within 20 mins. He fixed our existing furnace for a fraction of the price the other company quoted to make repairs that they weren’t even sure would work, not to mention buying an entirely new system like they were recommending . He was upfront I telling us that we should start saving for a new furnace because it is getting old, but at least he got our heat back on and gave us time to save, rather than backing us into a corner. I could not recommend Roy Rogers more.

Imagine that it is 3 degrees outside. Further, imagine that you’ve returned to your house after a short vacation to find that it is 48 degrees inside your home! That is exactly what happened to my wife and I—and on New Year’s Eve of all days. We were convinced we’d need to spend the night in a hotel, because let’s face it, who would actually drive to our home and service our furnace at 7:00pm on a Sunday night? Luckily for us, my wife just happened to do a quick online search and came across Roy Roger’s name so we took a shot and gave him a call. Not only did Roy offer to help us out, he was actually at our home in less than an hour from when we called! When he arrived, I braced myself for the premium price I was sure waited for us. However, after spending just a few minutes following Roy and watching him work, it became clear that he was one of the few “good ones” out there. I guess I’ve just grown used to the hassle of dealing with shady contractors and the outrageous prices they charge, I have come to assume they are all the same. That wasn’t the case at all with Roy. I can say with confidence that he truly cares about his customers and about providing them with value and quality service. Can’t say enough good things about him. Just wish I could extend the same kindness and courtesy that Roy showed us. Hopefully this review is a step in that direction. Thanks, Roy!!

I called this morning to request a tune-up appointment and Roy was out by the afternoon. He was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, honest and reasonably priced. He showed and explained to me all the issues and then made the needed repairs and/or replacements. I am pleased to have found a new heating and cooling professional. Roy and his staff are excellent. They installed a high efficiency furnace AC system at my home that replaced an outdated undersized unit. I can’t say enough about their knowledge of the system and their professionalism. Don’t call anyone else! They gave me a great deal on this system and they stand behind all of their work! Came home from a few days out of town and no heat . Call Roy's business and Roy came out himself. He got it working in very short time. The unit was 28 years old and would have cost more for a permanent fix than it was worth. Roy gave me an estimate for a new furnace and my 30 year old air unit. He told me he would not let me go without heat and if it stopped working while day or night he could come out to get it working until the new one was installed. The crew came the day after Christmas to install, walked me through the entire process . Was impressed with the quality of the work and the professional and respectful way they conducted themselves. My AC went out on May 21st. On the 22nd, the company that installed the unit 12 years ago came out to look at it. They discovered that the unit was basically empty of Puron and told me I had a leak. At that point, they stopped any further investigation and began to give me an estimate for what it would cost to first diagnosis the location of the leak then the cost of the repair. The estimate was for just under $4600! They also informed me that my 15 year warranty was void because I had missed several annual maintenance calls. I only paid $4800 for this system back in 2009 so I was having trouble justifying spending that much money on a 12 year old unit with no warranty, so I began the process of calling out different companies to get estimates on a replacement. Over the next several days, six different companies came to my home. Not one of them even bothered to look with any depth at my system including the two companies that I specifically asked to give me a second opinion. Fortunately, I asked a neighbor who maintains her system and she referred me to Roy Rogers. I called him and was able to get an appointment the next day on May 26th. I explained my situation and he proceeded to open up the system and after a few minutes proclaimed that he thought he could fix it. For the first time in five days I had hope that I would not have to drop an huge, unexpected amount of money on a new system. He used a few pounds of nitrogen to build up pressure in the line and then sprayed the lines with soap. After a few minutes he announced he had found the leak which turned out to be a very small crack. He confirmed he could fix it and he quoted me a price for the repair that basically saved me close to $10,000! I was (and still am) so very grateful for this man's willingness to take the time to truly investigate the situation, quote me a fair price, and repair the system. He even gave me a one year guarantee on his work. Roy Rogers has a new customer and when my current system does need to be replaced his will be the only company I call. Thank you, Roy Rogers!!
