Today Spencer came out and serviced the AC. He provided great information and was easy to talk to. We extended our annual plan another year!!

EDITED to add: the technician was very hung up on my old filter that yes, was changed the day the AC quit working to see if it helped. Changing the filter did not help, so that was not the issue.

He told me there was irreparable damage to the condenser and it needed to be replaced. Keep in mind this part was replaced, brand new, less than a year ago, so I do not believe there was a thing wrong with it either and he was just grasping at straws.

That said, even though he wanted to charge >$300 to replace that new part, he also admitted that with no repair it was *already* working perfectly. After that admission, yes I declined all repairs and it is working perfectly. So no repairs were needed.

Rather than telling me that the system was fine, he tried to lie and get me to pay to replace a brand new part anyway. Totally dishonest and I don't appreciate the reply to my review acting again, dismissive and like I am exaggerating. I am embarrassed to even leave a public review, so I can assure you I would not be doing so if i didn't feel like this was a total disservice.

My HVAC stopped working so I scheduled an appointment. They had an arrival window starting at 7am and they arrived at 5pm. No big deal there. They diagnosed the unit then came inside to present me with options. 3 options ranging from ~$300 to over $500 to repair. I asked some questions, including what caused the problem. He mentioned that it was taking in 80 degree air and spitting out 60 degree air. I clarified that it was doing that *now*. The technician seemed to backtrack a bit rather than answering. I clarified again - it was doing that, before any repairs. He finally agreed with me. I asked if it was working then, and he reluctantly agreed that yes the machine was working fine but he would still recommend a repair. He was not going to tell me nothing was wrong; he was going to charge me hundreds of dollars to replace the same part that I actually had replaced less than a year ago, which I had already told him as well. His general attitude was snotty, condescending, and dismissive. I have never written a bad review for a company in my life, so this was a bad enough experience to change that.

On a 90+ degree day, our A/C stopped working at some point through the day and when we finally noticed it, it was well past normal service hours. After calling after hours, Williams came out next day and was able to make a quick repair and get us back up and running in no time. Great customer service and very responsive team!
