Our A/C unit was out for at least 2 weeks. Another service provider had told us it needed a compressor and it would be at least 4-8 weeks for the new part. Called Poorman's and their service tech, Tom, took the unit apart and discovered the compressor was unplugged. All is working now!!

I called on Friday evening. A woman answered the phone, she didn’t say her name. I asked about getting a quote on a heating and cooling system. Her response to me was “Well can it wait until Monday?” I said yes and hung up. Completely unprofessional and I will not be calling back for a quote or any type of service at all.

First tech there 10 mins said its was working and left heat went back out 4 hours later on a Friday night not happy. Finally when a different tech came out Tuesday found the problem almost 500.00 to fix but least he knew what problem was and fixed it pretty fast so he gets 5 stars but first one 2 stars 90.00 for nothing first guy and then it took 4 days no heat.

This trip I needed information. I had a heating problem that didn't need to start with a tech at the house. Steve came out and spent some time with me, discussing the interaction between new thermostats and the furnace board logic controls. Nothing was really "wrong". I wanted an explanation of how it all works. I left satisfied.

Very unprofessional people. Calling for an appointment is like getting blood from a stone. Once they do show up, some really young kids who barely know anything turn up yanking and tearing at things unprofessionally. Once they left I noticed they left some tubing unscrewed on the condenser which created leaks. Now tell me why should I have to repair the repair I just paid for????
