    Overall, a wonderful company. The appointment turnaround time was super fast! They were able to schedule my HVAC, and plumbing services on the same day. The technicians were friendly, knowledgeable, and down to earth. The price point is great. My only negative remark was one technician used a decorative bathroom towl that I found afterwsrds on the floor wet, along with pieces of an old toilet part. Despite this I will continue to use this company.

    UPDATED: I spoke with Peterman Brothers about my concerns; mostly regarding the lack of response after the install and they’ve rectified the situation. They also went above and beyond expectations regarding the thermostat!

    I have mixed reviews about Peterman Brothers. Had about 7-8 quotes done from mostly local companies for new A/C & furnace install. Decided at the last minute to have Peterman's give us a quote, which they came out the next day on 5/23. Tanner was very professional and knowledgeable. His quote was on the higher side - probably the 2nd highest we had received. After going back & forth, we had decided on a different company.
    On Fri, 5/26 I saw the 'Memorial Weekend Only" offer of a free furnace with the purchase of an A/C. I contacted Tanner on Sat 5/27 of the holiday weekend to ask if our quote qualified. He said yes and then asked, "how important is the 15-year parts and 15 labor warranty to us?" Knowing that most other companies only have a 10-year parts and 1-year labor warranty, I told him it would be nice, but it's not super, super important to us. Tanner quickly emailed over a new quote with the furnace discount. It wasn't quite as much of a discount as I thought it'd be and the warranty was reduced to 10yr/1yr. I thanked him for trying, but said we were going to just go with our original choice because we could get a 16 SEER A/C, 2 stage furnace, humidifier and new thermostat for about or even less than the Peterman quote.
    A short time later, Tanner said Bryce with his inside sales office would be contacting to give a better discount. I did not hear from Bryce until almost 5pm the next day, Sunday 5/28. He offered a discount, 14 SEER A/C, 2 stage furnace, 10-yr/10-yr warranty, humidifier and a thermostat "if needed" and a Tuesday 5/30 install - right before the heat hit 90's for the week. I specifically asked if our 22-year-old thermostat will work with the new system. He said yes, but if not, they will get us one. Again, after much discussion, we decided to go with Peterman's.
    The next day, I emailed Tanner asking for him to have Bryce email a new quote with what was verbally discussed - I didn't want to call Bryce on the holiday.
    Two young technicians arrived about 9:30am and worked until about 7pm - very nice young men. The installation took a little longer than expected due to a wiring issue to the furnace. We received a Bryant A/C & Furnace - good brand, but I thought it would be a bigger/quieter A/C unit considering our house is a 2700 sq ft, two-story house. Hindsight 20/20, now I feel like we got the "cookie cutter" of the Bryant brand because of the last minute "Memorial Weekend" offer and the fact that one room on the main floor doesn't feel very cool at times and the upstairs is naturally still warm. I guess I thought that was the point of looking at the property to make sure we have the proper system to cool the whole house. Oh and no new thermostat was installed, which I should have known that would be the case.
    We paid in full the day of the installation and I asked if I would be getting a receipt showing that I paid and with all the warranty information. Was told yes on Tuesday. By the end of the week, I still had not been emailed my receipt/warranty information. I called Bryce, who said he'd have that recipient emailed. I inquired about ARHI certificates because on several of our other quotes, it stated Nipsco rebates/tax credit opportunities. He said he would reach out to Tanner to get this over to us. I also emailed Tanner a day or so later after my discussion with Bryce asking for all this important information.

    Here it is today, just over a week after the installation and I still haven't received the new quote, recipient indicating paid in full or the certificates for the rebate. At this point, I now wish I had gone with a local company instead of "the fastest growing HVAC company in Indiana." I feel like once they got the sale, the customer service dissipated.

    Lesson learned - go with local companies who genuinely care about the customer and not just the sale.
