    Our water heater went out and we called them for an estimate. They quoted me a price over the phone that was nearly half the cost of other competitors in the area. We purchased our own water heater and they came the same day and installed it. They had it installed within two hours of their arrival time! I couldn’t be more pleased. Highly recommend.

    We were having problems with our hot water. The plumber came in and fixed that problem, then found a leak at the water heater. We asked him to inspect our sump pump, and he diagnosed a big problem and replaced it. We will definitely be calling again if we have a plumbing problem.

    I called for an estimate on a new tile shower in our master bathroom and the owner came out to take a look. After discussing several options with us, Neil suggested we get the crack repaired by a local woman who is very good at insert repairs, take some time to really figure out what we want to do with the new shower, and call him when we are ready. Instead of taking our money, he turned down a big job to do what is best for us. That is gold. Neil earned my respect and i won't hesitate to call him again. I highly recommend Riverway!

    Larry at Riverway Plumbing did an awesome job plumbing gas lines in our house. Even worked out in the cold when he was sick, really came through for us since we had Vectren scheduled to hook our meter up the next day.

    Riverway scheduled an appointment right away. Noah arrived promptly and expertly installed a new faucet (which I purchased elsewhere) for the basement utility sink. He also installed a new T&P valve for the hot water heater. Noah did not waste any time driving up the hourly charge. He finished quickly and the bill was fairly priced. Great service, and also, at the office with Brie! ... plus, they are located nearby.

    I did not have Riverway perform any services. My review is based on the experience with their scheduling team and the professional who came to my house.

    After requesting an estimate online for replacing a sewer line I thought was faulty or installing a cleanout access in the yard, I received an email from their scheduler. I requested the latest appointment available, 4:30, due to my work schedule. I received a call while at work the day of the appointment at 2:30 from the professional who would be providing me an estimate asking if he could arrive at 3:30 instead of 4. Since I was still at work and was expecting to meet him at 4:30, I could not leave to meet him in person. I told him he could enter the crawl while I was not there. This appointment confusion wouldn't normally be a problem except for what happened next. Had I been there in person, we might have had a more civil interaction.

    After the professional went under the crawl to look at the issue I thought I had, he called me back to let me know that there wasn't a problem. Since there wasn't a problem or anything to provide an estimate for, he let me know that it would cost me $100 for his service call. I had not seen this charge listed on their website, nor was it mentioned on the call or in the email communication, so it wasn't something I was expecting. I politely asked that he provide me an estimate for the work then, perhaps a cleanout relocated to the yard (which I had requested in the original submission), so that there would be no charge. He told me that he would have to charge me for any estimate that's not over $500 and the cleanout was $400. Then he told me that gas was $5.00. Again, I urged him to give me some estimate, replacing piping or anything. I told him I wasn't trying to take advantage of his time, but I would not have called anyone to show up for $100 if I had been informed of that cost. He then hung up on me.

    I gave them two stars because I do respect that he gave me an honest assessment of the situation and did not try to scare me into replacing piping that didn't need it.
